I live about a half a mile away from where it was and where the menards is now, across from the elementry school. Hearing those cars every saturday night is a part of my childhood, fuck the people who complained, it was part of hales corners. best race track ever

It may have been a nice thing, but I'm glad it's gone. That speedway was so loud at night in the summer at my house.

Very nicely done. I used to go there to catch the races there almost all the time. I was very sadend when it closed.
