  • Good review, convinced me not to get it. Thanks!

  • This game is an insult to the book.

  • @SuperTSpain Then you have two choose to either borrow or rent it to figure out how the game is. If you don't enjoy or don't like it then it's worth a buy but if it is then it's worth it.

You will have to decide of how to do it.

  • turning a door handle clockwise? maybe its because I am british but a normal person would turn the counter-clockwise you know so the lock would go in the door and not locking it so the door would actually open. Or is it different in america?

  • I played this on PC, and it was one of the best games I ever played... And I've played a lot of games...

  • Wargrave did it.

  • thats made a family guy episode like that

  • I loved the book! but how can they posibly change the murderer xD

well i got all three of these for eight buck so i'll find out soon if i like it ^_^

  • Okay, so im looking up book reviews of And Then There Were None because someone on the Harpers Island review said it was like the show, so i look at the related videos section and i see this weird animated dude and look at the username... wiiviewr i was like "He doesnt do book reviews!?!" and then im like "Theres a Wii game for it!!"

  • The opening doors thing makes sense if you picture an actual door. You turn it clockwise to go into a room and anticlockwise to get out of it. Thats how we open doors in the UK anyway :) Well, haven't played the Wii version, so I don't know if it works that way. Maybe

  • You're funny! Seems like the best part of this game is the cover art. Next, please!

  • Personally, I agree. The game is slow and boring. I fell in love with the book, and just had to play the game, so I bought it and I hated it. I think I wouldn't have minded it if I hadn't read the book first, but it was still slow. Some of the parts in it didn't even make sense at all! and Then they changed the murderer! I hated that they did that, and HOW they did it. It was entirely unconvincing. I wish they stayed closer to the book.

I mean, you couldn't stay exactly like the book since the

  • Even if you didn't like the game, read the book! Seriously, it's great! You'll be pleasntly surprised!

  • Your review shows just your view because i actually loved the game and i know that many others share the same opinion with me. oh And it's not boring at all !

  • I have to read the whole book until tommorow :D

  • ur the 11th person? how the heck does dat go by the nursery ryme?!?!

  • @AsianBear43 Eleven little Indians played the Wii game again, one killed themself from stress, and then there were ten. ; D

  • Wow.... They even changed who the killer is? Way to fuck up the book.

... Oh also thanks for the spoilers. That one less person who it could be :)

  • 2:22

  • MUCH BETTER ON COMPUTER! I completely disagree with your review. I RAVE about this game. Best game I ever played other than Nancy Drew PC Games. Check them out!

  • just finished reading this book. really really good. i hardly read much but this book was exceptional. The game just looks bad and the alternate endings seems gay

  • Family Guy made a parody of this

  • I tried reading some Cristie novels, but couldn't get into them.

  • nice review, one problem.. u were to lud.. try moving the mic farther from your mouth or dont yell :)

  • Ummm... the breaking into everyone's room and taking their stuff part, that for some odd reason reminds me of what you had to do in the Dreamcast game Shenmue. AND I DON'T EVEN OWN THAT GAME!!!!!!

  • Had the PC version but I wasn't patient enough to finish it. Really slow and boring!

  • I played the pc version once

the game was so boring that I only played it for about 30 minutes

  • Dude, you know this was a PC game first, right? :/

This review is a tad harsh. The game probably would have been better if you had read the book!

  • A disappointment to Agatha Christi? Isn't that a little harsh?

  • you say this game is really boring, but sometimes you got really creeped out. and the only way i finished this game is with a gameplay :) i like it though

  • ...I've only seen the Scooby-Doo episode based off it xD

  • I love Phantasmagoria

  • hey. link does that in every zelda game. walk into people's houses and take their stuff. and they don't mind!

  • 1:01 D Word

  • THIS IS WHERE I HAVE TO SAY BULL- HONK!

  • BULL- HONK!!

  • Bad book, bad game.

  • @pmsherndon It was an awesome book I think

  • @pmsherndon Oh joy. And worse, I have to read the book for summer reading!

  • @pmsherndon horrible book,awesome game (i dont like reading) (im a gamer)

  • Saving the game is a pain

  • Hi, does anyone know how or where I can find a light source so that I can get upstairs. I have got stuck on this bit and cannot find anything or even a battery for the flashlight I have.

  • No matter what this guy says, 'And Then There Were None' is one of the best adventure games I've ever played. True, I played the PC version, and I do agree that keeping the controls hidden from the player to add to the environment is 'bullsh-HONK'. Apart from that small problem, there is nothing wrong with this game. Even if Wiiveiwr won't reccomend the game, I will.

  • to all the people claiming than the story is bad-ass, well it is, is Agata's story after all. but that doesnt make this game any good, you have the story but if the game if just boring then it is just bad implemented, in sum, a poor homage to the book. while not portraying this story as the original, i whould like tho recomend the umineko game, is like a step further of the Agata's island mistery, begining in the fact there are 18 peopple, not 10.

  • REVIEW silent hill shattered memories!!!!

  • The song at 0:00-0:06 almost sonds like the very first part of Linkin Park - What I've Done

  • @2010mustang2 i thought the same thing. if it went for another two seconds I would have thought, "It starts with love ONE THING"

  • wow u don't know a good game when u see it

  • Fun Fact: This game is a port of a PC title from 2005.

  • I actually loved this game It was one game that gets you thinking and a fantastic storyline

Some parts were very difficult (almost impossible, like turning the dial of a safe)

If you love a challenging point and click game with mystery, this is the game for you.

  • Brilliant review. Hilarious. Bravo.

  • when i hear i title like "and then there were none" i think its a zombie game,i hate mystery games! >:U

  • sounds like the damn clue movie... but its different.

  • Agatha christie was spining MADLY in her thomb when the game was publish . Trust me.

  • for fuck sake its a mystery video game! what do want realism? go get a job as a real detective then!

  • its $13! not $25!!

  • theres a ummmm nose in the tittle screen

  • @bluebellbun64 Yes, there is.

  • heyy i need help with getting the flower with the wii remote plz help if you know plz reply to this comment it would mean alot! Thanks

  • I actually kind of liked the game, but I agree about mastering the wii controls (scooping the flour, making the apple juice, etc.) The worst was trying to open the damn safe! That one took forever!

  • @alfbsc06

I guess ill just stick to her books =3

    Her books are great

  • that's why the PC version was better. But I liked it too. I never read the book yet when I played so I was more emerged into the story than the gameplay. when my friend was playing this with me we had a blast trying to figure out who it was.

  • i read the book and it was great. the movie? eh so so ( truth: my teacher read and showed it to me)

  • in a nutshell it sucks DICK

  • thinks for telling me this sucks

  • you try to become a partner on youtube so you can get paid for your great reviews!

  • My sister said the PC version was really boring and she couldn't figure it out. Too bad. I love point and click games.

  • I loved this game. You critisize the script yet even though the developers have changed the storyline the script is very accurate to how Agatha Christie wrote it. I agree with you over the Wii controls, it took me ages to figure out how to master them, especially when it came to shovelling the flour about so I could find the batteries.

  • I sorta agree with you.I like the game.....but its just SO DANG DEPRESSING!!!I think I'll stick with nancy drew

Thanks for reviewing all this stuff!!!

  • What what did you expect? For it to be all cheery? It's a MURDER mystery.

  • "This is where I have to say bullsh-HONK!"

    That part was funny!

  • Yes, it is

  • ill stick to nancy drews, thank you very much.

  • This is available on the PC I loved that game :). Don't think I'd get it on the Wii though.

  • There is a new point and click agatha Christie game for the wii called evil under the sun. Will you be doing a review on that?

  • Comment removed

  • i love these games 2 but the graphic for this is bad

  • This actually looks like a really interesting game in my eyes.

I would want to try it and I know you're giving your veiw on the game which is really good but please be more open-minded to a broader audience, maybe you could have pointed out the features of the game that some people may find fun. But I do think this is a good and funny review :)

  • I lold so hard at "The voices were British"

The game looks like it was made in 2000.

  • I'm surprised this game was rated 'T' for teen and not 'M' for Mature. It is like Fatal Frame 1 when it was rated 'T' for Teen when it was scary as hell. My point is this game should have been rated 'M' AND NOT 'T'! !:(

  • This actually was a really good game, the story amazing, this is a GOOD game

  • lol 2:22 Bull*car honk*

  • yea me too...this game was actually fun to me

    especially if you like mysteries

  • I found it pretty fun.

  • Sounds like a mix between the movie Clue and "Stay Alive".

  • This is easily the best review yet.

  • im left handed so i tend to go counterclockwise when i open a door

  • I played this game on my laptop. not the wii. It is a little better than the Wii. I liked it. It was hard and i REALLY wanted t know who the killer was. Then when i found out I freaked out. Then it told me that wasn't the real ending... CRAP! So i had to solve one more puzzle. THEN IT TOLD THE REAL KILLER... then i was like... this ending is better!!! Ecept when the (Not acual) Killer gets hanged... that was cool... in a cheesey kinda way... Over all i loved it. So get it! But not for the wii...

  • This game sounds depressing.

  • not really im only 12 but i kinda like murder mystirie movies i actualty seen the movie here on youtube i was very uptight but the movie isn't really scary(except for one part) you nenver see them ACTUATLY killing them but the creppy part is when they each say who they killed then they zoom up on them and they make a creppy smile the movies dialogue wasn't that good but to be honest i still don't know who was the killer i kinda know why they killed them if you want to more let me know

  • Ten little sailers went out to dine,

One choked his little self and then there were nine.

  • i turn it clock-wise and it works

  • i loved this game, it was hard, but i just had to go to gamefaqs, but i loved it! lol

  • Wow I remember reading the book in like 7th grade, it's pretty good. I'd read it any day over playing this game, lol. I wish this was a good game.

  • well, i heard there making a new monkeys island on the wii ware

  • bad game but one of the best books the school made me read.

  • i bought this book yesterday :D

  • 1 publisher went to to make a game one thought it it was good but the other didn't say the same it looks like a creppy game what are the four endings

  • WARNING SPOILER ALERT!!!! If you save these peoples lives it gives you a diffrent ending. Depending on who you saved is how the ending is...

  • It is such a lame game. Worst $25 I ever spent. Everything is so illogical, and in order to make the next event happen, you have to find all these random items at totally random places, without any clue why you are picking them up. Plus my wrist started hurting from that dumb door opening thing

  • so apparently its not that fun, but i LOVE the book, and even though everyone pretty much hates it, ima get it anyway just to have it and try it out

  • listening to the audiobook "ten little indians" now. thought hte game would be fun, but as i see...... it's crap, however this review makes it fun XD

  • The original name for the book was 'Ten Little Niggers'(Soz not being racist) , but then changed it to 'And then there where none', and film 'Ten Little Indians'.

  • lol sorry...not trying to sound racist but I laughed so hard at 'ten little niggas...'

  • oh thats very funny...ha. ha......ha. oh the agony...i am dying with laughter...ha.......ha.

  • Why was it called "Ten Little Niggers." I'm quite curious...I know nothing of the book nonetheless...but its kinda like a WTF moment for such a kind looking old woman.

  • This game really disappointed me. I was introduced to Agatha Christie when I was about 10. I've read a ton of her novels, and I think she's a great author. The game didn't even come close to the novel, or even the movies.

  • isnt phantasmagoria the nae of the new marilyn manson film

  • No, it's a controversial point-and-click games, they're, in certain words, very f***ed up.

  • What`s all the endings?

  • "You hold the a buttion down and turn it counterclockwise and it opens the door (most of the time)"

    LOL

this is one of my favorite reveiws because it is so funny :)

  • hmm... I'm 90% of the way through installing this game but something inside me wants to hit 'Cancel'.

    ...and, erased forever!

    $20 well spent

  • so happy i didn't buy this game or even play it cuz i really love the book. Thank wiiviewr

  • i really LOVED the book but I despise this game

  • Love the book. Hate the game.

  • "Boy, can he write fast!"

    XD

  • read the book. it's great.

  • Yes, it is.

  • is it that hard for someone to come out with a good point and click adventure game...? why must almost all of them always find a way to screw up the controls... hope you get better.

  • how do you mess up a point-click adventure controls? POINT AND CLICK!

  • just wondering are u criticizing? cause i know. its pretty stupid to be able to screw up something so simple.

  • kinda. not the wiiviewer, but the game.

  • i no... y cant they make a good point and click...?

  • im not done reading the book im down to 2... some guy just got his head smashed in by a bear clock. im looking forward to finishing it lol XD

  • :0 oooh, maybe ill grab the book...

  • you should its awesome

  • k, thanks

  • boy can he write fast!! lol

  • it was kind of odd, with seeing the people die...

  • Sad! And Then There Were None is one my favorite books

  • Wow I expected this to be really great considereing the book was so great. Thanks for the advance, but I'm curious about the characters. And what things are portrayed in it and from the book and stuff.

  • The book is 100% better but I wanna play the game.

  • There are so many games on the wii that i've never even heard off, this is one too.

  • true i hate this game, i sold it back after 1 hour of buying it!

  • My teacher forced us all to read this book and IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! How could the game change it so much?

    *spoilers*

In the book, the guy in the boat is one of the victims and is never on the island. Why do you play as him?

  • Actually, in this game the boat driver is the book's boat driver's brother. Plus, they probably added him in because you need SOMEONE to play as since you can't really be one of the original characters in this type of game.

  • OK, it makes more sense now, thanks.

  • That was something i guess

  • I liked this game, even if the characters weren't the best looking ,and some parts were confusing I thought that a had really great atmosphere which isn't bad for 10$.

  • Actually, my friend thought this was great= BUY!

  • nah, I actually liked this game after I got used to the rooms and stuff. The PC verison of the game is much better and much more simple. I love the voice acting, the storyline, and the endings :D (hehe)

  • i jsut finished thisbook it awaome!

  • He cant take the notes because then people would know he was snooping... what kind of detective are you?

Also: your voice - not so good.

  • I love games like these..could someone recommand me one that is really good? I thought I was going to like this one, but after seeing this review, maybe i'll have to change my mind :D

  • Next month Broken sword:shadow of the templars(directors cut) is coming out for the Wii.

If you never played it before on the PC then you gotta play it now because it is AWESOME.

Sam & Max is also pretty good on Wii.

  • Also try Alone in the Dark -- the newest one, set in New York. It's an AWESOME game!!!

  • what are you talking about?`I agree with most of what you said but you can actually overwrite the memory when saving the game! You just have to click twice! Even I understood that.

  • hey to be honost is this game good? cuz im thinking about getting it if not is evil under the sun good?

  • I was horrified when I tried this game. Great review.

  • I bought this game for the PC and actually enjoyed it a lot. I loved the book as well. I thought it was kinda cool how they changed the ending a little, but at the same time included the real one. I give it an 8/10.

  • I just beat the game which took me a good four days since I've been glued to the Tv. I found it that ppl who haven't read the book are more probable to not understand the plotline, compared to ppl who have, since ppl who have can work around the storyline more easily and immerse themselves as a character in the game since it very IS similar to the book. (The "new" killer suprised me in the end I guessed well) Tho I cn't say it was amazing game, it still was fun in the long run, in my opinion.

  • i can tell this is a shitty game with its shitty title name.

  • i kinda disagree with the rating you said it was a adventure game its not its a detective game the inly thing i hate is

    SPOILER:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there was one motion control that i hated

in chapter five you have to unlock a safe buy twisting the wii mote

ps to open doors for me at least you can either way

  • Its more an adventure/detective game. More on the adventure side though...with all the random items that are used with other random items.

  • I take back what I said about the game earlier. that was before I got it on Christmas Day. It's NOT THAT BAD like you say it is! You just have to be paitent with it like DaSeeker3r explained. I also read the book prior to playing the game and noticed that most of the characters say lines from the book itself. I do agree that SOME puzzles were a bit pointless, the saving idea being annoying, and that I literaly had to draw a map, but if you look past the problems, it is a good, playable game...

  • I read this last year and the book was kinda boring to me. Why the heck did they make 4 different endings? If the game is based on the book, how could they change it? If the game is exactly like the book except the ending, how could it make sense?

  • book: incredible game: greatest pizza slicer ever

  • im actually from enngland. i dunno why they make the door knobs like that... anyways. i hated it and thats that. great review.

  • The reason they changed the killer for 3 of the endings was to add surprise. If they just had Wargrave as the main killer everyone would not be surprised with the ending at all. Everyone would be suspecting him to be the killer as over 100 million people have bought and read the book. So they added the original ending to remain consistent and changed the killer for the remaining three.

  • I actually liked this game. Probably because I like adventure games.

Anyway I am rather a patient person and I recognise when developers really worked hard with a game. I personally felt that the game was a nice gesture.

Plus the PC version was overall much better then the Wii.

Also the game has 4 different endings and one of the endings was the book's original. What more do you want? Who really cares that the killer is someone else for 3 endings?

  • Too bad this game doesn't see worth it. I read the book in 2 days and I figured I would definetly get the game for fun. Wow though, even saving was a problem? You would think that the developers would at least change the gameplay slightly to fit the wii controls! Thanks for the reviewing advice!!! I'm going to wait for a Monkey Island Sequel on the Wii...hopefully...

  • Yeah...keep waiting on that. :)

  • Monkey island is never going to get a sequel. Lucasarts has all but disowned Monkey Island and it has faded from memory of a lot of gamers. There is just to little demand for Adventure games now and have faded from memory

  • MONKEY ISLAND is Here!

  • awwe man this looks like the kind of game i wanna play, too bad its awful..

is there something similar that is a good game?

sorry, i'm new to gaming.. ^^

  • my mom bought this game :P

  • the book was way amazing! way to ruin it wii

  • What a horrid game. Nice review.

  • "The voices were British but that's approperiate for the game" - you're not kidding are you? What should all games be dubbed to American? lol I only played this on the PC, didn't suck too much, I liked the music.

  • Well the one thing that I did like about it was the Mac Gyverism's about it. Like combining the materials for the parachute, or the bee smoker, and the turky/goose baster with the flower and cellotape to make a finger print device. Your character is basicly a British Mac Gyver
