Singers do worse on stage Because in a studio they do the song over and over and pick the best of each and every line (just like cut and paste). But it's hard for the singer to actually do each line perfectly one after another without stopping, and live performances make this obvious. Otherwise, sometimes they artist gets tired of singing it just like the record and just mixes it up a bit.
