@LillieTennen She's a lesbian, great, who cares? Why make a competition solely for a (by some) stigmatized group? Would you react to a "Heterosexuals only" competition? "Whites only"? Im not hobophobic, I just don't believe in "positive segregation" as it's called.

@primat91 This competition isn't just for gay people. It's called Queer Idol because it's held by and within the queer community. But it's actually open to anyone. There are actually quite a few heterosexual competitors in it.
