Great stuff! I lived in one of the blocks of flats featured at 5.35, way back in the late 1970s when I was seven or eight years old. Seeing them - and the fish market - brought back lots of memories, thanks!

Man at tht tyme there used 2 b nuthin in kwt. Now evry street u see a small restaurent or a bus station. Now they hav creatd malls in 2000s bt b4 there wz nuthin xept sand n empty place.!! 0_o

@SuperSaad50 Thanks friend : ) I don't have more video sorry, thing is i only just got the video camera a few weeks b4 I left Kuwait back then in 1988, so didn't take much film unfortunately. Amazing how things change huh !

@thebojan thanks thebojan, i put another one on yesterday "Kuwait 1988 Fahaheel to Abu Halifa" also shows inside a small local shop - you can see the products available back in those days before the invasion

@AnaQ8yAna thanks very much dear, i would love to come back one day, haven't been there since 1988. A pity i didn't shoot some film of the capital but i bought this camera just a few days before i left. I have one more shorter piece of film, which shows inside a small shop - gives you an idea of products you could buy back then.... I'll put that on later this week :)
