Got the same model. It does flicker like hell on nearly all output levels except max. Bummer! Don't buy it.

increasing or decreasing the light level output will eliminate the flickering effect
its not visible in the camera screen when filming, but set the light to its brightest will definatly mean no flickering is visible
i also found that after converting an mts file to xvid the flickering dissapears.
in my video review of the yn-160 i mention this but the flickering is not visible.
i just did a test at 50i and 50p and theres no flicker visible in mediaplayer but it is visible in sony vegas.

i sent it back and bought a different one.
you could try to change the shutter from 1/50 or 1/60 to maybe 1/48 or 1/60 if this is possible.
that helped for me.

is there any way to fix that... its very problem with bad result.... damn. I have the same light and Im very unappy... don't know how to solve it on my DSLR.
