Siri is most likely to be slower because the voice command is sent to servers, analyzed, sent back and then the phone does the task. Of course this all happens very quickly but still costs time regardless. But i don't think an iphone or android user would care as long as their phones worked just as good as in this video.

I have the Razr and I had the iPhone 4 (no Siri).... I will say that I miss my iPhone yet I'm glad to be back to Android. I honestly love both phones. They both are great. I will say Apple is better about OS updates.....

@XtremeGaming123 There are actually 8 iPhone models. Google for "HT3939" to read the Apple KB article if you want proof. The current version of iOS (5.0.1) is even officially supported on the iPhone 3GS, which was released way back in 2009.

So iOS 5.0.1 will run on 5 of the 8 iPhone models. That's 62.5% coverage!

Anyway it's irrelevant to this video since those commands are supported on android 2.2+, which covers 90,8% of android devices(according to the latest platform update)

Just because it beats your phone outright at its most marketed feature people doesn't mean you need to get immature and insert fanboy comments and downvote the video! Even Apple's Steve Wozniak prefers the voice controls on the Razr over Siri on the 4S, heck he even labels the 4S integration for Siri as a downgrade compared to Siri before being bought out by Apple.

There are always "eras" of different technology that depend on the last. Steve Jobs made a new era, that changed technology as we know it. Dennis developed a more efficient operating system for computers, so did Steve Jobs. They both changed technology as it is. Apple, for its time, is more advanced.

That makes sense. Which ever one is 3 seconds faster than the other, is the superior phone. Really, come on. Siri dominates the voice commanding world. Lets face it, Motorola, these ad's aren't helping your sales, i mean, you only got 3.4 billion in revenue. Oh and dont forget the 80 million in net loss, which is a 100% decrease from last year. Apple has 37 million iPhone sales in just 24 days. Of this year. Which is a 128% increase from last year. Oh plus, its iOS. Beat that.

@SamzaNemesis the Razr is shipping with Gingerbread, too. But Voice Commands (voice search is a different app) work very well, precisely as in the demo. It's very accurate and certainly faster (do your own comparison, though - it's interesting) than Siri, but it is not as flexible. I can understand why people like Siri: you can say pretty much anything and, even if you don't get it to do what you'd wanted, it's still interesting. Like everything else, it will come down to what you prefer.
