@xMasterJuiceX If you smoke in the same room with the computer even when off, you should really clean it more often then 4 times a year. Perhaps once a month or so.
um...you realize that vaccum cleaners make static eletricity and computer parts can be fried by eletrostatic discharge (ESD). thats why i use an air compressor.
My old systemax aol optimized computer i got from the flea market was just like this except...it was alot worse. you couldent even see the fins on the heatsink and the fan motor was clogged with dust as well...underneat of the black cover where the magnetic coils are the it was grinding. thats how i knew there was something wrong. anyway the white plastic that the cpu goes into is a little melted and deformed now so i dont think i can take the cpu out now if i needed to because it might not fit.
@Ltb0b That is important, and something I should have emphesised more in the video. The vacuum works great, but don't put it directly on components as it can pull weakly soldiered ones off the boards or even has a slight static charge depending on the model.
@Ltb0b adding to that set it to 40 to 60 psi... shouldn't hurt very much my air gun has a "built-in" regular so it doesn't go any more then 60 due to the design
how often should i be spraying out my computer? keep in mind i sometimes smoke in the same room when the computers off.

i use airduster to clean. 100x better than a vaxxume.
Xeonophon 11 months ago
@Xeonophon Use the airduster with the vacuum and you'll find that you don't get dust everywhere outside of the computer when you do it.

@DefconComputers A vacuum could create a static charge and fuckup your computer, dont use one.

@famouswolfy
two tips don't get near components
Vacuums may create a static charge
