  • oh great, another super camoflagable concealed machine gun on the streets.

  • @mindlessprimitive its not on the streets its in peoples homes dumbass. criminals dont buy from the local gun shop.

  • @mindlessprimitive Sure, as long as you have a Permit for concealed carry, you sure do.

  • glock 17 !

  • @CrazyNoob221 they r calling it the fmg 9

  • @CrazyNoob221 they r calling it the fmg 9

  • I'd still rather just carry a non fold out version, you'd be filled with holes before you folded that thing out!

    Looks awesome...........very Robocop 2.

  • @drukenhard this has an extended barrel, and a stock, its for covert operations to appear unarmed and also with the handguard and flashlight it looks like a big flashlight. or for when a mugger has a knife pointed at you, you can put your hands up then bam! unfold it and one up him with a fire arm

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand action!

  • if this becomes available how long before it ends up in the hands of those who should not be having it more mayhem in the world ?amazing how a thing that can kill bring so much wow ahhhh from people but what can make life liveable not so as said we reap what we sow

  • So is it coming out or what?

  • fuck law enforcement, for me!

  • Damn that would make an insane concealed weapon for law enforcement.

  • Big wallet you has there. What ya got in it? Some 9mms? RUN!

  • you can now officially pull an automatic glock outa your A** thanks to chris costa and magpul :P love these guys

  • @Takata240 is it being sold for commercial use? i thought it was just a prototype not going to be mass produced

  • @Takata240

and a woman can pull two out O.o!!

  • thats a big wallet

  • that is the definition of ingenuity :P

  • All the times I have crossed paths with man-bear-pig whilst walking my dog. I was forced to use sharp sticks and harsh words.

  • @DedRabbits I usually just run them over with my truckboattruck.

  • start out as a condom and then... bam! rocket launcher!

  • I don't know, never heard of conceal carry on an SBR before (because of the butt stock)...If no butt stock then it'd be a pistol.

  • It's a wallet but then it's a gun.

  • 007 stuff here haha

  • fork188 its not available for civilian sale...

  • yea but when it is availible, he still should not get have 1

  • Magpul gun, more than meets the eye.

  • sick

  • this guy is just freaking slow

  • this thing is pretty cool but you will never see it in the hands of the public no way!

  • Magpul literature indicates that you may in fact see it in the hands of the public. As a factory built SBR. It would be built with a G17 frame instead of a G18.

    Big maybe...but hope.

  • Go to "Magpul Industries SHOTSHOW 2008 Part 2" to see what this gun really is.

  • Okay seriously, this isn't a gun just the take out and shoot with. It's a flashlight that transforms into a Glock with a rifle casing. This video didn't really show what it is.

  • Takes a little longer to deploy than something made for responding to threats in that close of a proximity should.

  • but it is the ultimate in concealability.

  • But it takes five seconds to deploy. A pistol only needs to be drawn.

But I'll admit, it is a good idea.

  • it does take a while to draw, but if someone doesnt expect you to have a gun, you were only carrying a flashlight, then you still have the element of surprise. and i bet with practice that could be m,ade ready just as fast as a handgun.

  • I dunno. A 1911 will be ready just as fast as you can get it to a good point-shooting position, a Glock will be ready before that, even. By the time that someone's a threat, they're already probably going to be in motion, and the extra second or two used to unfold your pistol stock might make all the difference.

  • it may do. but then i think this has the advantage that it could be casually carried in the hand, for example on close protection detail, an passed off as a flashlight. then it is already out of the holster.

  • Even then, it still requires a second or two to unfold before it's useful. A pistol is ready as soon as you can lift your hand.

  • but then not as concealable. It is a very good idea, just needs a bit of sharpening. perhaps so it can be fired while folded, like the HK MP5K briefcse someone made.

  • both of you have good points.. but it is true,, it is SECONDS slower than a pistol. a pistol can be drawn in less then 1 second. this one can be drawn out of a pocket in less than a seconds too, but you'd still have to open it and grab the handle and stick ur finger in the trigger... that is much much longer...

  • i completley agree that this will take longer to draw. my point is it may not need to be carried in a holster at all. say you were out walking the dog at night, in winter ( so you had maybe 2 layers between you and your gun), a pistol could take a few seconds to dig out, whereas it is perfectly feasible to have a 'flashlight' with you when out at night. then you could have this unfolded before a pistol out fo the holster. it definetly has its place.

  • but how many instances or situations that it is ready like you say...

  • ill admit it is a very niche market. security companies could use it on patrol at night.
