I like the viper alarms as the one in the video is awesome, I have one myself, but unfortunately any car alarm on the market still does not make the vehicle 100%.. layering with additional theft proof devices buys you extra time to bust them in the act or them deciding to move on. Bottom line is, if they want it bad enough, they'll get your vehicle.. even at gun point! Thieves came into my garage a few years back which turned into an exchange of gun fire.

@Alex050796 all depends how you set it, you set how big the zones are, and you can set it if you want the proximity to set off the alarm, there are 2 zones, like with mine if your near the car it will only warn you , no matter how long you stand there, but if you reach in my van, or get in it, it will go off, like if you crawled through a window

your an idiot man. sorry put that isn't what a proximity sensor is. that is a field sensor. proximity deals with the transmitter being in a set distance so if walking away too far the car automatically arms itself. know your stuff before you show it off.

lojack is the best, if you want to prevent your car or get it back if its stolen. LoJack alarms are the best next to vipers. best is to get like 3 or 5 gps in your car, get LoJack, and get all your valuables in part of your insurance plan, in case its all removed or destroyed they replace it. plus a viper alarm system

thats pretty cool The big question is, there are pro car theives here in Chgo and half of them are gangbangers and they study these new car alarms and still get away with your car with the alarms on it--is there a system that is pro car theif proof? had my Chevy Suburban and Chevy Caprice stolen right in front of my parents house!!!
