@123FLGATOR DLC = Downloadable Content. It's special Items send out by Mail from Nintendo. For example, you got a DSi Bench for celebration of the DSi release. Since the start of this year, Nintendo has released Golden Items each Month. (A complete Furniture Set, called the Golden Series.)

You can recieve DLC's by having WiiConnect24 enabled. You can turn it on through the Settings for your Wii, and then turn it On on Animal Crossing by talking to the Phone at the Attic.
