I'm a musician, and I teach guitar full time. (Not that it matters) but even though Nickelback's music isn't for me... I still respect them. They are out there touring, working hard, and making big money.
@thesicilianguitarist I have the utmost respect for you and your maturity. I realize that not everyone is going to like Nickelback and I don't expect them to. What I expect them to do is to behave in a mature way such as you did. To be honest, I could care less if someone hates Nickelback. My students age range from 7 to 50's. When my students put their time in technique, reading sheet music, and learning all the major modes in different positions of the neck, then I ask them what tunes they want to learn because then they can apply all the hard work I gave them to something they would enjoy...(read next comment)

I said when I FIRST started playing, I wanted to play Nirvana & Pantera. Then I matured as a musician, and now play classical/flamenco/bossa nova. You think I would play Nirvana at a conservatory? @thesicilianguitarist I know music is for the ear.When my sax teacher noticed that when he could bang out any 7 notes on a pianoand i could name them by ear(perfect pitch)he set me in the right direction.I trashed my beatles albums and started listening to the Beachboys and chicago, and lots of horns.would shred all day and set the alarm for 2 hrs and wake up and do it again. Those days are gone. and replaced by kiss ass teachers who are in it for just the money. toss out the nickelback

@amzingjourney Nickelback is simple. I use their content for lessons as well. EVERYTHING in music, uses a scale, some form of chord progression. Nickelback has few, but pretty decent pentatonic scales. You're not going to try & teach a student some fucking Steve Vai without any simple build up, are you? Either you've never spent a day in school (or any form of education) to understand how mental progression works, or you're just a troll. Putz.

It inspired him to learn more. After a few years...I taught him classical, bossa nova, rhumba, and a little flamenco (which is VERY hard)

The band & venue security had all been shown this chicks pic & were checking out everyone! For the 30 secs when we met the band, we had 2 give security our purses, cameras, drinks etc. We were 2 girls surrounded by 4 huge security dudes just for a picture. It was nuts but they are very well protected!

Students get bored from reading music all the time in a book...you have to teach them what THEY like sometimes.

My students age range from 7 to 50's. When my students put their time in technique, reading sheet music, and learning all the major modes in different positions of the neck, then I ask them what tunes they want to learn because then they can apply all the hard work I gave them to something they would enjoy...(read next comment)

@amzingjourney Nickelback is simple. I use their content for lessons as well. EVERYTHING in music, uses a scale, some form of chord progression. Nickelback has few, but pretty decent pentatonic scales. You're not going to try & teach a student some fucking Steve Vai without any simple build up, are you? Either you've never spent a day in school (or any form of education) to understand how mental progression works, or you're just a troll. Putz.

It inspired him to learn more. After a few years...I taught him classical, bossa nova, rhumba, and a little flamenco (which is VERY hard)

The band & venue security had all been shown this chicks pic & were checking out everyone! For the 30 secs when we met the band, we had 2 give security our purses, cameras, drinks etc. We were 2 girls surrounded by 4 huge security dudes just for a picture. It was nuts but they are very well protected!

Got a reply from Lora aka Alicia. Still spouting the same. No actual mention of what he supposedly did (which is amazing seeing as he's nvr spoken to her) She says she will carry on doing this until he admits "the truth" as she sees it and clears her of being a delusional stalker... Funny thing is, she has planted that thought in our minds- NOT Chad!
I'm gonna try and restrain myself from further correspondence but she makes me so ANGRY as she doesn't see what she's made herself look like.

She needs to understand that this could very well have been someone else entirely pretending to be Chad and that Chad probably had absolutely nothing at all to do with it. GAWD!!! @rosahlyn My GOD she's crazy!!! I've been worried sick ever since I first found out about her!! I saw her vid in NY Times Vulture thingy but didn't actually watch it because I didn't want to, even indirectly, give her that satisfaction. She needs to understand that it is ENTIRELY possible that Chad had nothing at all to do with whatever it is she's claiming he's done. It could very well have been someone pretending to be him.

Contact YT and NB's channel about ALICIACREATURE as she is harassing Chad with her comments. She has even wished death on him which leads me to fear for Chads safety. I want to enjoy these vids with other fans not see her fantasist rantings. If ALL Chads fans in the US or CA contacted police, then they would have to act and get her in an asylum. That, I cannot take! But yes, I suppose I should just let them say what they wanna say as it's not important anyway. What's important is that I love this band with all my heart and soul and nobody can take that away from me!!
