Can't agree with you more.Over and ovef I stress this detail to my students,and inevitably someone doesn't do it every class...and find themselves in trouble because of ignoring the advice to cotnrol your oppionent's head.

Excellent attention to a seemingly minor detail that can really be a MAJOR issue if ignored or improperly/insufficiently addressed.

I agree - this is something that is often neglected.
Nothing can happen from the closed guard until you have control of your opponent's posture. Thanks for giving people the heads up!
