what a stupid comment. soccer was neglected for around a century in america. they are, however, the best at their own sports (american football, basketball, baseball, hockey...). in brazil, in contrast, soccer is played EVERYWHERE, even in the poor neighbourhoods. here in Portugal too, even without a ball (pines, some stones, etc). so it's normal that there is more quality overall than over there, even though we're a small country.
