Rodney Branigan is not merely restricted to acoust'o'matic shred, he can play high end electric guitar too... if Zappa was still here, he'd have Rodney in 'The Mothers'. He is also a damn good songwriter...

Guitar really is not a percussion instrument but I believe a kayak man could use one as a paddle. Many of these acts work as an adjunct of actual musical performance.but going too far from the original can get boring in time.

I saw this guy late at night at the big green gatherin. I am so glad you put this up coz I was out my face and i wasn't quite sure if it really happened. That 2 guitar song is obviosly class but his other songs are really well done as well. Cheers for that.
