@Harlottin Thats his preset DH (Decision Height) aural warning. Basically he executes a missed approach if he doesnt see the airport by that time. One usually sets it to the AGL altitude on the approach.
i did about 40 hours in the pc12. one of the most capable single-engine turbos... just great.. but when you go on a Warsaw Dublin trip with a 50kt headwind you realize the plane is not made for those trips :-)

True enough, and it is good practice...still, nothing gets your sphincter to tighten up like landing on an *actual* short field. Check out the video here on YouTube of a PC-12 landing at Pacific City, Oregon - 1,575 ft landing distance available (there is a 300ft disp. threshold) by 30 feet wide.

It is when you're flying 4700KG of aircraft in to a 650 metre runway and stopping in less then half using only light braking.
