  • U r a homo

  • I think the author is right they will keep prices low like other companies usually do they will buy out their competitors and when they are basically a monopoly they will likley gouge prices.

  • I tried giving netfix a chance tonight at my business. There are so few movies available for streaming from the internet. What a waste of time. It is better just to go down the hill and get the movie I want from Blockbuster. It is not attractive at all. Sorry netflix, I predict some rough times for you.

  • @1313HarborBlvd Totally agree with you. I pay for Netflix AND always have to go to Blockbuster because the movie I want to watch at that time...is NEVER instant watch. They are MORONS. People only used them because they were cheap. Now they aren't. Bye Netflix.

  • people bitching about netflix raising prices are bunch of pussies. people wanting something for nothing. even after raising prices 60% the price is a damn bargain. Netflix is in the bizness to make money and it is not a non profit organization. how people expect netflix provide worldclass service when people don't wanna pay. if netflix goes under the only people that will loose are the people who will have one less company to choose from and people forced watch it in the theater for full rates.

  • @TheCashistrash They are in the buisness to make money but why is it that they keep losing money due to customers leaving. No one is saying they won't pay but 8 bucks a month for streaming and mail in for 1 dvd is a real bargain 16 bucks a month for both is not. Now you have redbox 1 buck a day, block buster total access 8 bucks for 1 dvd, where they have both games and dvds with on demand. I don't see the pussy(ness) here.

  • Well I guess I will not be going back then that was the whole point if they lose a lot of money they will look at what happen to block buster they lower the cost of movie and they are now gone thanks to them.

  • Netflix hulu plus are both bull shit

  • Notflix

  • @haymaker710 LMFAO!!!

    -D

  • @cybic2k They lost about 800,000 Members so far, are you sure they're coming back? Look how much money they are losing per month...

  • Your letting them hike up the price and they will keep doing it if you do not put your foot down. Every time we allow them meaning all of the big company to do that you are tell them it is ok to walk all over me and to do what ever you want. I will not be going back to them at all until they lower the price again. I not sure if I will even if they do. Plus I know I not going to the other places which the cost it too high as well. If you do not stand up for stop it they will just keep doing it.

  • @csdesign73 They're not going to reduce their prices, because its not a smart business decision. you cant go backwards. What they might do is add a incentive for subscribing to NetFlix with there new prices.

    -D

  • I agree with AllYaNeedIsLove100 but (s)he did not tell you that movies on streeming (netflix) only have 2 stars or less witch means its getting flush down the tolit unless they pay for better newer movies I give netflix 1 year before bankrup if things dont change

  • @richardheadIII LMFAO!!! Well to afford newer material, you would have to have more money. So hopefully they using the money their charging for service wisely, lol

    -D

  • YEA YOU SEAD IT OLD TV SHOWS OLD MOVIES THERE IS NOTHING NEW I STILL VEWING NETFLIX MOVIES AND THERE IS NOTHING NEW I WOULD THINK THAT IF WE ARE PAYING MORE MONEY WE SHOULD GET BETTER AND NEWER MOVIES (AM I ASKING TO MUCH?) LETS SAY LAST WEEKS NEW RELEASED HOT MOVIE WHY IS IT NOT ON NETFLIX? OR A MONTH AGO THEY GOT YOUR MONEY WHAT ARE THEY DOING WITH IT ?

  • @AllYaNeedIsLove100 nothing new? bored people are boring

  • @stevenblouis EXACTLY!!!

    -D

  • @AllYaNeedIsLove100 Well they need more subscribers like yourself to message them demanding newer products. But NetFlix have new tv shows. Movies do take a while to show up on their server

    -D

  • This will hurts them and help HULU & RED BOX!!!!! If only blockbuster was still around they would of try to rebound too...

  • @bigkrisp LOL right, lol. Alot of HULU service is free, unless you want to watch it on your mobile device or on your TV. So i think they're getting a lot more subscribers since NetFlix hiked their prices, lol

    -D

  • It's been 2 months since I got the email and 2 months since I dropped them, and still not feeling even a little bit of regret. Redbox is down the street, I've got HBO, screw Netflix.

  • @SagatProductions LMFAO!!! I LOVE REDBOX... till they charge you $30 for not returning a DVD, lol. thats happen to me already, lol

    -D

  • If I go to a movie and buy a drink and popcorn, I'll spend almost $20 plus $5 for gas.. With NETFLIX, I can watch as many movies and DVDs as I want and it only costs me $16 plus tax. That's it! And I would bet that most of the complainers either work for AMAZON or REDBOX ... or are Hedge Fund Managers hoping to buy the stock at a cheaper price! However, I HATE the name Qwikster!!!!

  • @MovieGuru504 LOL, i dont know where they got the name Qwikster from, lol. But i do hear you. Their stock price has dropped, so this would be the best time to buy into it. Im sure they will add incentive plans to the package to get people to resubscribe to NetFlix.

    -D

  • I'll simply be using Amazon. I'm quite shocked that Netflix would raise prices by such a huge margin like this. They are clearly taking advantage of their market position (since customers now have fewer options due to NF running other competitors bankrupt). This is classic! I hope that NF customer base will abandon the idea o paying for two separate services.

  • @shnuggumz They're actually feeling the repercussions right now, lol. We'll see what the future would hold. I dont think they will reduce the price, but they might add & incentive package to have customers come back to them

    -D

  • Go to Amazon and just buy what you want on DVD. Screw Netflix, Quickster, and Hulu Plus.

  • @astayonix I got to Amazon, but i would rather use RedBox DVD, lol

    -D

  • Get a GF Dude! ha. No one cares what u have to say!

  • @DefiedHeroes LOL I already have one, but thanks for your concern, lol.

    -D

  • SKIP to newxt video cuz THIS FUCKING AD!

  • @DefiedHeroes LMFAO!!

    -D

  • This is where you are wrong. Only retarded people will go back to Netflix. Netflix has screwed up just one to many times. Screw Netflix.

  • @iaxx whats is your problem

  • @stevenblouis my problem is this fag is trying to say the netflix can do what ever the hell they want and people will always follow blindly. so I said that only retarded people will that don't like to think or are slow to realize what is going on will go back to netflix. thanks for your concern though.

  • @iaxx Why are we name calling? Tisk Tisk Tisk (everything else you had to say became irrelevant).

    -D

  • @iaxx That is your opinion. Right now Netflix is feeling the heat, but eventually they will get out of the Fire.

    -D

  • @cybic2k Thats not what you said in your video. 0:50 "Everyone that you are losing you will get back in about a month." Why would anyone go back when they keep changing their policy and doing it all shady. Also don't forget about how they mocked Americans with the price difference in Canada. " How much has it been your experience that Americans follow what happens in the world? It's something we'll monitor, but Americans are somewhat self-absorbed.” I am just going to have to pass on Netflix.

  • @iaxx Our debate ended when you called me out of my name!

    -D

  • @iaxx Agree. I never like Netflix anyway. Now I really hate them.

  • I'm new to Netflix, but I don't get the controversy. It seems to me that people got used to the streaming service for free. People can still get the traditional DVD by mail for the same price as always. Am I wrong?

  • @moremileyplease People can get DVD by mail for an additional price. I believe its about $8.99

    -D

  • Once I saw Red Box and Block Buster Express movie Kiosk in every other grocery store and CVS/Walgreen pharmacy I was pretty sure it would affect them. So I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Netflix Express Kiosk some time in the future.

  • @tdbj11 I LOVE RedBox DVD... till i forget to return the DVD & end up paying $30 something dollars for one DVD, lol. ahha

    -D

  • netflix is goin downhill :(

  • @hmarjus2 lol, i think i have to agree with you there, lol
