  • One of the best game sequels ever.

It lives up to fan expectations, gives some new things and is fun.

THAT is how a game sequel should be.

  • I remember trying to quickly press the start button and soon as this intro started because if you missed it, you'd have to sit through the intro until the title came up.

  • I can't belive Banjo Kazooie is now for x-box. Make it Nintendo again

  • thumbs up if you noticed Banjo is trying to play the old theme at the beginning but fails horribly

  • @AxjZOne actually,it's him tuning his banjo

  • Wasn't the Banjo-Kazooie series the first N64 games to include a widescreen option?

  • Banjo-Tooie..so much more challenging than Banjo-Kazooie but still just as much fun!!! 11 years later and I am still waiting for a decent Banjo sequel!

  • @shadow89675 and @WobbuffetsWobuffan

    N&B wasn't a bad game, just shouldn't of been a Banjo-Kazooie game.

It'd be like, making a game of Kirby where he can't copy abilites and is made up of yarn.

  • @DaGenericName yeah, they would never do that XD

  • @DaGenericName they didnt say that it was a bad game.

  • YEEEEEEEEEEE-HAAAAAAA I HAVE BOUGHT BANJO-TOOIE!!!!!!!!:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd IM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!! xD

  • In my opinion it would be better if they didn't release Nuts&Bolts. Way to kill the fame of such an amazing, epic, superb game. Played Kazooie and Tooie as a kid. Both were just as good. Tooie was such an epic sequel.

  • I read somewhere that it will be very likely that the next Banjo Kazooie game will be like Nuts and Bolts... we have to convince Rare to return Banjo Kazooie to its roots! Or else!

  • I wish I didn't get rid of this, I remember buying this from a rental store in 2001 for $10 along with Majora's Mask, both games complete. At the time it was an incredible deal since those games were still selling for $30-$40 each in the stores

  • I can't believe it's already 10 years old. That's older than I was when I was playing this o.O

  • Banjo Kazooie and Tooie are really cool Games, but Tooie is a lot bigger.

  • i'm playing this right now since i just unpacked my N64 a few days ago. god the memories! both banjo-kazooie and tooie are still one of my fav games of all time =D

nuts and bolts sucked though. i was so upset with it >.<

  • Consider the following.

The first 18 seconds of the song do not appear in other occurrences of the main theme, despite it sounding like part of the song.

    That's because it isn't.

It's Banjo tuning his banjo in preparation for playing the actual theme, which truly starts at 19 seconds.

  • banjo tooie for ever

  • they should have made a new banjo game on the Wii not 360(360 is not nintendo)

  • @RashidRaheemTV rare sold this title to microsoft

  • @RashidRaheemTV Yeah, but Nintendo sold Rareware to Microsoft and just destroyed all chances for making a decent sequel instead of Nuts & Bolts. In my opinion, that sale was a major screw-up on Nintendo's part.

  • @CrazyLucario08

Wrong, Microsoft bought up the company before Nintendo could renegotiate a contract with Rare. Nintendo gave up what was left of Rare after thaty since they couldn't work with only part of a company.

  • @CrazyLucario08: Well, Nintendo still might have let Rare release Nuts & Bolts on the Wii had they stayed with them.

Besides, Rareware only made what is now Nuts & Bolts because they didn't want to rehash the two previous games.

  • Banjo games (minus Nuts&bolts) are the best platformers to date.

That's a lot to say considering the N64 is two generations behind.

  • if you think that Banjo-Tooie was totally a better sequel than Banjo-Kazooie Nuts&Bolts and totally kicked it's butt, give my comment a thumbs up, and see how many thumbs up this comment gets. Nuts&Bolts did not meet the expectations that were set by Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie!

  • I wish Microsoft actually stuck to the spine of the BK series instead of totally making it something else. People didn't like it because it was a racing game, or because it was centered around vehicles (N&B), but they enjoyed the unique qualities that it possessed and presented. As the saying goes, "Don't mess with success," and it seems apparent that Microsoft did just that.

  • @WobbuffetsWobbuffan

you are so right, if i could give more than one thumbs up, i would

  • @WobbuffetsWobbuffan that's kind of obvious isn't it? nuts and bolts was a disgrace, banjo was half my childhood and xbox repays me by shitting out some pathetic modern car game, if they had cars and lasers and guns all along they couldve just flown to grunty's lair and blasted that bitch to cloud coo coo land

  • I like this intro about as much as I like the first one. Just because of the messed up notes at the beginning and then how it completely breaks out into the actual song.

  • @DarthKain0 Yeah, totally agree. I remember when I first watched this intro when I was a kid, it made me so happy that they made a sequel to the first.

  • i remember when i first got this game... i was in Okinawa, Japan ... good times :)

  • Probably the greatest sequel ever made. I didn't think it was possible to expand so much on a game that was already so awesome as it was

  • this was the like longest game ive ever witness

  • lol nintendo 64 was so good that gamewise that no future console can match it =)

    bk&bt

    super mario 64

    zelda oot, zelda mm

    smash bros

and my favourite: mario kart 64!

  • donkey kong 64 and diddy kong racing were also classic

  • i can play this on my piano, i set it to the BANJO SETTING :D

  • lol

  • The rare sequel that was about as good as the original. The only gripe I have is they completely crapped out on the intro. All they did is use the awesome opening music from the first one and were like, "Oh, this'll be enough, can't top the first one so screw it."

I mean I know the hardware wasn't as good as it is now, but they could have tried...

ANYWAY. The game itself was funny as hell.

  • Both games 100 times better than nuts and bolts.

    dissapointment

  • i agree, nuts and bolts was tradgic

  • @shadow89675

nuts and bolts is funny too but its not the same the originals were so much better

  • @shadow89675 you know that rare are making a banjo three in the future. nuts and bolts was what GTA san andreas is to GTA 4

  • This was an awesome game, I remember playing this on my green N64!

  • cant believe rare kind of fucked most of us with nuts and bolts. really VEICHELS.... RArE WTF is up with you really killing so many good memories of the first 2 games.

  • Ok, guess I'm the only one who thought this intro was awesome (better than BK's). Such a great way to start the sequel to an amazing game.

  • The intro of bk was better.

  • prefer this better than banjo kazooie but then again there was award winning rymes to gruntys jokes

  • bk's was better, not that there is anything wrong with this one

i just personally think its more entertaining to watch banjo, kazooie, mumbo and tooty playing instruments

    brings back good memories though

  • Good, but not that good.

  • Not as good as the first one, but still awesome!

  • Personally I never liked this intro.

  • Well draw a picture and call if a cup this is women.

  • To be honest, I liked Banjo-Kazooie's intro a tad more... even though I prefer Tooie's graphics.

  • good times

  • old school

  • So many memories.

  • This video = Epic win.

It brings back to me lot of good memories

  • aaah... if rare has the bear NERVE to remove this theme from banjo threeie, i might not play it/

  • love banjo kazooie

  • Brings back memories :)
