While you are correct with the statement that Federer is better at finishing off points you can't say Nadal is a Defensive player. Nadal is what i like to call The Perfect Baseline Player. I'm sure you guys may disagree but if you say nadal is defensive he is when he has to be, but when he goes for points his backhands are amazing when they are hit cross court, his forehand gets his opponents out of the court to set him up for a down the line finisher or vice versa.
What Rafael does is he slowley works his way closer to the court by pulling his opponents off the court with an angled lefty spinny shot to the service box corner. This gives him the time to hit his inside out forehand. Nadal is a counter-puncher its as simple as that.
i agree nadal is very good to watch and the reason for this is he cant finish off a point as quick as federer, he's very defensive, so it looks like he's a better play if u dont know tennis(not that u dont) Federer can set up point so quickly and puts the ball away, fact! nadal cant...

Well.... that match is a little out of context. At that time... Federer won Indian Wells.. and it´s really hard to arrive and stay really cool to win key biscayne. Nadal said also that it whas a Mistake done by him keep playing after Rome, cus he whas already injured but he dicided to keep on in Madrid. Thats why he have had that White bandage on he+s Knees wich doesent help mmutch he said, and know he+s knees whent worse. Hpefully now he will get to he´s 100%

without nadal, tennis is nothing. i got into tennis because of nadal. he was tha man, his strut and swagger intimidates people to the core. nadal has given me great sporting memories i will never forget. i want him to break federer's slam record one day and win all 4 slams and be number one for a number of years.

both great players i am a fan of both, but u can't compare them considering they are both at different stages in there career. if u look back at federer 3 years ago you can clearly see he isn't as good as he once was tho he can still beat anyone at 27. i would like to see them both in their prime at optimum age. my bet would be federer in straight sets. best player EVER imo.

We did see them play when Federer was 22 and Nadal was 17......Nadal won this one 6-3 6-3 and it was on hard court in 2004 at Miami....you sure Fed's better??

Well.... that match is a little out of context. At that time... Federer won Indian Wells.. and it´s really hard to arrive and stay really cool to win key biscayne. ( Federer did that at 2005 and 2006). I ask you if Nadal did the same as roger ( win indian wells and miami in a row twice).. ohhh of course i forgot it, Nadal never won Key Biscayne.

Dude It simple becouse they other courts are Hard court wich the ball goes faster in with he´s style of playing it doesent help mutch. in Clay the ball is slower wich is hard for toher players that doesent have the condition to play long time or run mutch as Nadal.

well he has won in hard court.....so he´s not only good in clay..... he won wimbeldon aswell. now passing Federers record 15 grand slam, that i dont know but what i do know that he´s 23 and have 6-7 grand slams somethng federer didint have at that older, federer started to win at age 24.

Injurys are Normal In sports m8... Nadal is back now... he injury got this bad cus he keep on playing for example in Rome and Madrid he whas alreday injured but decides to keep on and whas a bad decision by him.

And If nadal would have been a better player and reach a little more in final (coz they can meat only on final being No 1 and 2) the record would have very much in favour of federer.But, Nadal always loses in earlier round in grass court and hard court tournaments and only time thye meet is in clay courts,Also, fed loses to nadal most time on 2008.its 2009 baby..!!
