I agree Cubs have some of the best fans in baseball. However the Yankees are the greatest team in baseball. Chicago news flash you aint one the big one since 1908! 101 years really nothing! Not even one or two flukes like Boston pulled off. Are the Cubs ever gonna win or even go to the World Series again?

Sure the Yanks have won it many times. But lets remember there is no salary cap in baseball which certainly has helped them out over the years.

1. Money doesnt guarantee a championship each year, if it did yanks would have like 50.

2. Yanks won a majority of their titles before free agency.

3. If Cubs had the money yanks did or any other team they'd be doing the same thing.

4. Yankees are the class and pride of baseball

The Cubs humbly bow before the might and greatness that are the New York Yankees. I've seen the Yankees win 5 World Series in my life time. How many World Series, or even Pennants have you seen those losers from the North Side win?

All I can say is when the Cubs finally win the World Series it will be the celebration of a lifetime. Not to mention it will also be the sports moment of this or the last century.

The bleachers where always full!

There were many days when the bleachers only had a hand full of fans sitting in them. The upper deck was mostly closed, you can easily see that in this video.

The bleacher seats at Wrigley Field became very popular thanks to this bunch of fans. At the start of this video you see the sign that says "Bleachers $1.00". Now in 2009 a prime weekend game will cost you $50.00!

These fans were real fans, not the ones who come to the ballpark to say they were in the bleachers and think they are the best fans. I also noticed in 'This Old Cubs' movie that alot of audio was the original bums chanting.
