i think saves is a bit of an overstatement. Now, as a devils fan and a butterfly goalie, i hate watching brodeur, but i hate the penguins yet i love watching fleury because he can move so swiftly and his butterflies are perfect. But in this save, idk what, but i think he got is pads caught on eachother because with lateral movement like his, he could have easily come across in the butterfly and taken the shot in the chest and not have given up a rebound. I dont think it was showboating but stil

You guys are wrong... what happened is that he got his stick stuck in a player's skate. As a goalie myself ... your stick is your wheel.. it guides you where you are going... as you can see in the video his stick gets stuck .... therefore he needed a second push with his stick free to make a decent one.

Watch in the slow-mo at the end of the video you will see that his stick continues as though it hit a skate, but it did not get caught. He came across and then had to dive to get whatever he could in front of the puck.
