@confusedkid6 I don't know how far you have watched, so possible >SPOILER ALERT<, Chad in Hueco Mundo even remarked himself that his powers were more hollow like than soul reaper like, and in the Fullbring arc you learn that Chad's power is a Fullbring, which is actually cause by a hollow attacking a pregnant mother, and the baby absorbing some of the hollow's powers. Anyway, sorry if I spoiled anything.

@confusedkid6 I guess Ichigo got his hollow when he was training by Urahara if you remember they were a bit late and he had a mask when he came out as a shinigami.

Go to the search and type "Urahara vs Ichigo (Training)" click on the first video and you'll know what I mean ;)
