  • Is there ANY danger involved with this technology? It just seems too easy.

  • thank you nice demo gave it a share

  • hi good day! can i ask for the circuit design and schematic diagram.. it was awesome with your design.. can you send it to my email add... gta_jag69@yahoo.com

  • im thinking what is the schematic diagram of the receiver? what is the purpose of it???

  • my PC mouse works with this technology, my maximum range is 5 centimeters.

this technology would be helpfull for recharging batterys of pacemakers.

  • But where does the meter go?!

  • This is very cool. I am trying to add electroluminesant lighting to my car rims. The current method (pancake slip assembly) will wear out very easily. Do you think this will work to transfer from car to wheel? They would be in very close proximity. Would I have to worry about rain and elements?

  • amazing :D

  • Could a system like this be used to charge a 48v electric bicycle in an outdoor covered charging station? The current plug-in charger operates at 3w

  • @ebike1961

    Hello,

I'm pretty sure it could with a little modification, if the distance is not too extreme.

  • @MarkoBakula

We could design the bike rack so that the headtube mounted receiver on the bike contacted the unit providing the charge. We would rather not have to include a plug. Rather just two contacting pads.

  • If everyone would be using such stuff, the HF spectrum would be more and more polluted. This is already the case, made by cheap electronics.

  • AND HERE I AM putting batteries in my wireless keyboard and mouse like a fool?

    First world problem solved.

  • what is the range?

  • plz send ckt diagram of this connection on my email id mrityunjaydemiracle@gmil.com

  • what a great shit

  • thank's to nikolas Tesla He was the great, the master He discover all of these power secret

  • can someone explain the construction pls ?

  • is it possible to use it in houses, replacing wires?

  • what are the components used in this project please tell..

  • Nekem is van egy áramköröm de a hatótávolsága nem túl nagy.Milyen típusú tranzistort(kat) illetve anyagot (kat)használtál fel hogy meg tudtad a hatótávolságot növelni?

  • its a work please send me full details of ths project and its making process pls i want to do it as my mini project and it is useful to show others practically implementation of faradays law so pls snd its details .........

  • Beautiful!

  • @youtuubbguy66 What is the frequency used?

  • At what age you die playing with this????

  • thank you, i have began to study lc circuits and found your video. I can see the truth of this but there are some things I don't understand. Thank you, this helps alot -- maybe one day I can contribute back.

  • How many watts does that black box consume? And how many watts does the lightbulb actually output? I'm just curious about the efficiency is all.

  • @700up700up If you study formulas you will know. It is proportional to the distance iof a square.

  • In your description it says that the primary coil is part of a radio. Is that an appropriate size for a coil in an LC resonant circuit that is used in a simple HAM radio? I am trying to build one and so far have been unsuccessful, and I believe it is because my LC circuit is incorrectly tuned.

Also you stated above that you have a rectifier in your power supply. However, this should not work with DC power. Could you clarify?

  • can you give a schematic of this project or one similar to it?nice vid

  • Is it AC or DC power?

  • Nice video and setup.

How much power is transferred in this setup and would you still receive any power with a human body in between the coils?

  • This video is fake!

  • @Knuffelaar1970 : this is not fake i have done this project with micro-controller atmega 8535 with transmiting power of 45watts. with the range of 45cm, i have received 69% efficiency.

  • @probirbera1 I know it's not fake. Just messing around ;)

  • Comment removed

  • on which ferquency it is strarting lighting??

  • What is the Black box you are using? I'm trying to figure out where I would find one and what they cost.

  • @Invictus227

It's a power supply I made. It has a toroidal transformer giving around 12V with a rectifier and filter cap - nothing special really.

  • INDUCTIN FTW :3

  • COMPLIMENTI BELLISSIMO

  • Very nice*

  • Wireless transfer of transmission to receiver electrical is similar to photot voltaic cells- solar panel fucntion. The emmission of correct electrmagnetism to the reciever to be converted into electron flow. The receiver has to have a effeicient semi conduction with sensitivity for better electron selving obital hi lo photonic action to produce hot substantitive electron similar to alternation magneto flux field to progate storable current from magent rotating on coil.

  • @businessdesigner No they are actually very different phenomenon, while generation of electricity from solar panel is exploiting the particle nature of EM wave this is exploiting the wave nature of it. Both are very different. (That's why there exists a phenomena of strong coupling or resonance in the form of transfer shown in the video)

  • You think the Navy could use the ELF in the same way? A low Hz might give it more range huh?

  • at what distance did the light bulb go off assuming you maintained orientation of loop for max flux through the loop

  • Science is cool. Evolution is stupid!

  • are you using a chip to connect with the light source to pick up the frequency?

  • What's the efficiency of this setup? (and at what range?)

  • What if you used 3 rings on both the transmitter and the reciever 2 verticle at a 90 degree agle to eachother and the third horizontal half way up the other two creating a spherical shape. Would that stop the orientation of the two from effectinge the reception (except of course for the range)?

  • nice work! the drawback i'm guessing is that the strength of the electric field drops very quickly as you increase the distance between inductors. have you done any efficiency calculations on it?

  • sry electromagnetic field :)

  • Can it be, that this is from E-bay ??

  • What happens at 0:43 .

Is there where the flux passing is 0?

  • @rahulras

That's right - with the loop plane being parallel to field lines there's no net flux passing through it. Hence the result is the same as if it was very far away.

    Marko

  • Thanks a lot Marko!

I could make it by this video.!

  • used if for chemistry, teacher loved it, credited you and the site, thx alot bro.

  • NIce Nice Nice Nice!..^^

  • Nice demo!

    Thanks!

  • Double your receiver to a dual cross circles

Parralel and series the receive drops the ohm raises the power cross you receiver + and- defys logic but increases you power

  • this is really awsome, I have actually decided to do wireless electricity for my physics EEI do you think you could tell me what I need to make it and what frequency you have the power supply set at.

  • I guess if you can make the receiver rotate with a motor, you can make the light glow brighter and darker.

  • what happens if you introduce more than one light/receiver?

  • wouldnt it be great if like a tv was close to a wall there could be some device that sends power and other signals(cable, web) wireless-ly so no more cables every where!!!!?

  • awesome video, thanks ill have a go at making it!

  • lol, about a century later Tesla's dream comes into the light.

  • Why didn't you flip the smaller loop around 180? I wanted to see if the light would still work if the poles were aligned in parallel. I'm trying to figure out if that would make a difference - In other words, would the law of series vs parallel still apply when only coupled magnetically? If you know the answer already please tell me.

  • @genesisfan3,

I think you can easily come to an answer if you note that we are dealing with AC currents and the circuits are completely symmetric (no need to think farther than that - the receiver is still exactly the same circuit if you turn it 180 degrees around). So yes, the bulb will light the same. I didn't exactly turn the receiver 180 degrees in the video, but I did something equivalent from 1:23 if you watch closely.

  • @MarkoBakula Hey thanks Marko. I've been driving myself crazy trying to figure that out. I'm at work right now, not home where I can experiment to find out. But yeah it was racking my brain.

  • Hello all,

I updated the 4hv thread with most frequently asked questions about the circuit - make sure to check it out before emailing me about the project!

    thanks - Marko

  • Just a tranformer.

  • @LoneOarman Yes, but that usefull on SMT feeder.

  • why err less, POWER, transmittion. its not that hard a concept to grasp surely??

100 years on, still in one out the other.

  • mutual inductance;)

    Nice demonstration! gj

  • type of the matching inductor used and its curent carrying capacity

  • hi!!!!what is the rating of capacitor and inductors at reciever`s end????

  • hiiiiiiiii!!! what is the rating of capacitor and inductors used at reciever`s end?????/

  • hey will u please tell me the radius of field that light can glow in this case????????

  • how much range between em can take ?

  • not very much I say about 10 feet

thats the thing with Inductive Charging

  • nice man you could be the new Nikola Tesla ! keep it up :)

  • Hey what type of bulb are you using? What's the bulb called? Please reply I really want to use that type.

  • Hello,

the bulb is rated 24V 5W, I had a bag of them in my garage and have no idea where they were intended to be used, perhaps truck turn lights?

I think you would be better to use 3 12V 2W bulbs in series instead. That should provide better impedance match.

  • The user arspace gave me a message saying if we use Tesla approach to give everyone energy it will drain the earth's magnetic field and let the solar wind destroy humanity.

    True or False ?

  • false

  • is that a guess ?

  • Yes but a good one :D If we can ever get to the point where Teslas patents are released and we could actually use the energy wrom the atmosphere and transfer it anywhere on a scale where it would be free for all, we could no doubd use it to control the magnetic field if needed. My opinion is that we would not speed the weakening of the magnetic field by doing this. Someone prove me wrong.

  • when you say control magnetic field , are you saying we can control the magnetic fields on the hands -on neo-magnets or must it be just the earth's magnetic field ?

  • I was referring to the earths magnetic field but unlimited energy gives us control of any magnetic field. If we can weaken the any field, we can also enhance it.

"He who controls magnetism, controls the universe" -Marco Rodin

  • @SundayScientist Is Marco Rodin's quote also a guess ?

  • No it's not :)

  • @SundayScientist then so be it :))

  • From where did you get the information to build "this"? I have check many web pages and i found nothing. Please give me the information to do this thing because i'm working for a project about this.

  • As someone who has actually replicated this particular device, let me state that this configuration of high capacitance, low inductance circuit is exactly what Nikola Tesla said is Hertzian EM waves (MAGNETIC/amperage waves) and is USELESS, having extreme losses. Tesla, on the other hand, was working with oscillating ELECTROSTATIC fields where losses were practically nothing. Simulate both circuits on MultiSim to see this.

  • Nikola Tesla was not crazy jeje...

How much current is flowing from the source?

  • OK, anymore information on how to build one of this? I don't see any link to additional information.

  • thats bullshit

  • Sorry, Man, Thanks, you already had provided the stuff in the link, actually I am sorry, i just didnt read it, now i got it:-)

Thanks and sorry for the trouble:

how is it going with Inductive coupling for Mobile and notebook charger, and how u regulate the o/p for multiple mobile with diff mA ratings?

    Thanks

  • Hello, Gr8 Job!!

    Congrats,

I need some help in replicating this same job,

can you please list down the total components used along with the ratings, and also the PCB layout/ schematic Eagle files for the PCB board etching?

1>what is the number of turns in Primary & secondary, i see that Primary is just a tube of copper, normally used in Refrigeration and cooling, what is the thickness in mm,

2>what abt the secondary , whats the AWG/SWG, how many turns?

    thanks

  • so that is the concept of wireless power tower that Nikola Tesla hoped to built :)

  • @dan020350

and he could do it, but you retarded americans fucked it up cuz it was free!!!!

just like you fuck evrything up!!!!

  • @93Gaara :) don't we love to blame.

  • @dan020350 yes we do, since thats not the only time americans slowed down him and by that slowed down the world

  • @93Gaara :) Since you already admit we love to blame, that has hasten you . Now let us just build .

  • No, tesla did this.

Tesla was trying to build something you could use anywhere in the world. I don't think he succeeded technically, and his financial supporters withdrew.

  • @wolfekeeper Was he trying to create some sort of free energy, or transmitting energy from one source to another by wireless ?

  • He was trying to power the world with electricity. The problem was he couldn't figure out how to put a meter on it ;-)

  • @wolfekeeper I still don't understand. The world was already running with electricity using direct currents. :) It seems to me he was trying to find a way, perhaps using the hydro electricity ( source) and transmit it around the world wireless. I think, if this was true the world has already accomplished his wish currently, because our cell phones and Internet gives us a hint.

  • @dan020350 no, wireless telecommunications doesn't require high efficiency- Tesla was trying to send power wirelessly around the world with high efficiency.

Tesla did do this kind of thing as part of his Tesla coil.

  • @wolfekeeper Then let us conclude : Tesla was never working on a free energy device near the end of his life, although he did exploited Niagara Falls- hydroelectricity. Nevertheless, transferring energy to another by wireless was his last unfinished piece of work. :)

  • Have you tried different electrode types and have you tried different diphole type effects?

  • wow....just wow....i gotta study more about this. thanks for uploading.

  • Nice demonstration ! Keep on working on the wireless energy systems and please post your results in my forum at

    overunityDOTcom

    Many thanks.!

    Regards, Stefan.

  • The URL you provided answers with a 403 - Permission failed. Could you upload the schematic somewhere that is available. This is some great work. Thank you!

  • I'm sorry for my lack of replies last months - If there are still people with problems accessing the link, please let me know, because I'm unsure of what could be wrong with it. Thanks.

  • Still not working!

  • dude you have to post a step by step on how to build this.

  • It seems you put 2 capacitors at the receiver coil (catalytic "black" and polyester "blue"). Can you tell me their values ?

    Very nice job man !

  • How far apart can they be befor total power lost?

  • @Jenfucius

there's always power.... it just gets smaller, but never 0....

  • can this be done with dc current?

  • That's the future...

  • can i you pls post the PCB layout?

  • How many ampers are circulating at the primary coil?

  • About 20 amperes calculated. In combination with skin effect it was enough to cause 6mm copper pipe to heat up significantly in the prototype.

  • when power isnt being used on the secondary is power still being used on the primary?. this is a amazing thing

  • Well, no, when the receiver is removed the power input into the transmitter drops. But, there is a continuous power requirement for the transmitter of about 10W which still makes efficiency of the system poor in overall.

  • is it possible to use a joule theif as the transmitter?

  • Hm, that depends on how you elaborate whatever you consider a 'joule theif'... but any power oscillator with a parallel LC tank circuit can serve in this purpose. Here I used a royer oscillator similar to those used in CCFL inverters, but hartley, colpitts and other similar oscillators can be used as well.

  • ccfl inverters are interesting, do those have a fixed frequency or is it constantly changing?. do you happen to know why its called a tank circuit?

  • what is the frecuency you used?

  • great job!

  • sorry, i am a newie at electronics... is it possible to couple just plain RLC circuits, without using spare parts from radios ?

could you give me a little hint ? (capacitors, coils and resistances values)

    thanks,

  • did you use a function generator as a source or a 220V output???

  • Hello -

The most important issues of the frequency are radiation losses, skin effect and capabilities of the power amplifier itself. Higher frequencies do lead to higher number of energy packets/second but for the former reasons it's not the best idea to push the frequency too high. I'm actually interested to determine the lowest usable frequency.

A higher power design with half bridge amplifier is underway this summer. This circuit is really only good for few tens of watts input.
