    Hari Om

  • great and informiative -

  • Man post some more vids on your denim!

  • You don't need to spend a fortune on jeans to get a beautiful pair. Uniqlo's premium 'All Made in Japan' line are currently using 15oz raw selvedge Kaihara denim from Japan...one of *the* finest mills in the world. Their cut/fit, lack of unnecessary details and deep, deep indigo make them the equal of jeans that cost 3 or 4 times as much. I've got Nudie and APC jeans lying in my closet as these Uniqlo's are so good. It's not about price, it's about the look and feel...so quit being label whores!

  • Hi mate, I just want you to know that's 60's 101Z!!!!

  • Thank you very much for posting this. I am very interested in learning about vintage denim. I tottaly understand you passion for vintage clothing and think your doing a great job

  • i do have a pair of this modle.101z

japan denim.they're super fine awesome jeans i love em.

  • Tbh i'm sorry man, I know people like what they like, i don't wanna be another prick on here dissing people for the hell of it, I don't wanna knock someone for something they enjoy, i'm just sick of people feeling the need to post on the internet that they own a pair of selvage jeans...sorry anyways.

  • Dude, when I posted this, a year and a half ago it was the only video of its kind. It is not bragging, it is info. I assume you are from England, but here in the US these jeans can still be found in thrift stores. This kind of info is good for people who have found them. I own over 40 pairs of selvage jeans and I don't give a rats ass who knows what the hell they are. They are just jeans.

  • i relize that im replying to something u wrote half a year ago but, im watching this video b-cus i want to see the details of a vintage pair of jeans. yes i am a freak.

  • Um, these jeans are rare and are worth over $600. Some people seek out vintage jeans and want to know the details. Obviously you know nothing about quality jeans.

  • Sorry denim nerd, but I know alot about quality jeans i'm just humble about it, I like what I like and don't cream my pants over how my jeans are stitched! I have selvage jeans but tbh they're not my fave pair.. jeans don't have to be made a certain way for me to wear em! Long as the look and feel nice I don't care! I hate all the pointless pretentiousness in fashion!

  • These jeans are a piece of history and no jeans since will have the details of these jeans. These were made with heirloom Zimbabwe cotton, which is now extinct. With EPA regulations, indigo will never look as deep as that on vintage jeans. These are not fashion jeans and they are anything but pretentious! They are work wear! Some people are just more interested in clothing history than you. Maybe you should watch something else.

  • huh???$600??

if you wana buy i can sell it for just $400 lolz...

  • nice serge... im wearing a pair of half selvage lees right now.

  • i just found 4 more of these from like the mid 60s two full selvage, two half, all deadstock so i'm pretty certain of the time they were made, these are so tough to find if you're ever in berkeley, check out my shop, i've got a ton of denim - brownies vintage

  • Wow, I will have to check out your shop. I used to live in Berkeley. I will check you out on my way to SF.

  • Give me a pair of vintage 101!!

  • i had a pair of these that had full selvedge and probably weren't as old as these. they had the lined rear pockets but not the wide belt loops, just goes to show how hard it is to date these suckers with different features phasing in and out. bet you find a lot of these up in winters.

  • I acually got these jeans in the UK. I also have a pair of 101B full selvage from the same era that I got recently in a thrift store. It is really rare to find good jeans in these parts! I keep my eyes peeled!
