I know its a lot of money however 3 series are in this deal. its about time. only thing I was wishing for a collector's tin. however it dose not come with something cool like that

So in this anime, the robots don't have free will or intelligence of their own and require human operators to pilot them? Strange. I gues I can see why this didn't air outside of Japan as it was it's entirely different from the TF titles that most fans are familiar with. When I think "Transformers" I think of intelligent sentient robots who don't require humans to control them. This is more of a "Super Sentai" inspired anime.

Yes. Headmasters and Masterforce are such good series. They are good, but they would not have lasted because everyone here was so in love with Optimus Prime. To them, he is Transformers. They would have a hard time looking at Ginrai and not seeing Optimus. I was able to as he is pretty damn cool. I am going to start watching Victory soon. It was the last of the G1 series anyway (including Zone). We find out what happened to some of our old favorites.

to to cost of script writting. As for why

"master force" was never seen in the U.S.,

The script was 5 episodes originally, but was shortened to a three parter. It was animated by AKOM. Meanwhile Japan wanted to do their own Transformers series following Season 3, that's why Toei Animation (the original animators of Transformers) produced the Japanese exclusive shows.

I always wondered why the series stopped at "Rebirth". The toyline and comic were still going strong in 1988.

However, if we did receive Headmasters, I doubt Masterforce would've been brought over. It was just so different from the other series, it wouldn't have worked out. One reason being, no Optimus or Megatron.

Victory Force is good too, just watch on. All of the new Gestalts in that series are pretty unique (DinoKing/Monstructor, RoadCaesar, LandCross, LioKaiser, Victory Saber).

Though I have to agree that Headmasters wasn't the best out of these three, at least it did have Sixshot in it. ^.^

Cool I have an Overlord as well. That and the japanese version of God Ginrai were the best Masterforce toys. MetalHawk and Black Zarak were cool also.
