  • Anyone have the commercial with Peter Bondra in the supermarket & Chris Simon checks that old lady into a stack of coke cans?

  • @Pedreaux that one was awesome as was the line changes in the bathrooms

  • Olie got the nickname Godzilla back in his AHL days, because he always had a bit of a temper and was know to go into fits of rage sometimes.

  • great commercial, olaf is one of the best goalies germany has ever seen.

  • LMAO!!!

Best wishes Olie. You're my favorite goalie!!!

  • That must be annoying to do multiple takes of that last scene

  • he didn't need mutiple takes 8-) he's a goalie...

  • i'll miss you olie ... best wishes in your retirement! and to the capitals management: RETIRE HIS NUMBER... please!

  • AMEN to that.

such a great player, role model, idol, and person. He did so much for the DC area communities.

    Many many props to GODZILLA

  • we sooooooo need Olie back... Varli is really good and we have Johnson who is "injury prone" i think Al Koken called him and theo is ok i guess but we need a big dominant goalie

  • Thats pretty good

  • HE IS A LEAF NOW !!!!! GO LEAFS GO!!

  • Laffs are the embarrassment of Canada with their unwarranted overexposure in the Canadian media. A recent TSN survey says Habs are Canada's team. Eat it Laffs Nation.

  • joa...so is es ;)

  • Olaf Kolzig bester Deutscher Goalie aller zeiten !!!

  • viell von dem her, was er sportlich erreicht hat. aber der größte deutsche goalie is für mich eindeutig Robert Müller gewesen!

    EVL rules

  • how did he get the nickname godzilla? cause he was one of the tallest?

  • Olie got that particular nickname when he was playing in the AHL for the Rochester Americans. Because he's a big guy and was known to go into fits of rage sometimes. Like this video.

As a lifelong Capitals fan, no player will ever be as beloved, including Ovechkin, like Olie the Goalie. Retire his # Washington.

  • @Ravagefrenzy79 its just a sign someone was holding up at one of the games (i met olaf kolzig at the 2011 capitals comvention and he was asked that during a seminar) but i assume the other stuff has something to do with it. and he is really tall

  • holly fuck i just shit my pants

  • haha so funny xD

  • that was awesome! i had never seen that before! i might not be able to go to a game without thinking about that now. lol

  • I wish i could give this one 7 stars

  • lol

  • Kolzig announced he did not return to the team and will never come back, which means he is retiring. He just announced it after 19 years of being with the team. I'll miss him.

  • HA HA HA SORRY HE'S A BOLT NOW !!!!

  • Hes also way over the hill...have a good season

  • Hes also way over the hill now.....have a great season

  • LOL

i a big fan of huet, but kolzig is very good too

  • u still a huet fan even though he moved to he hawks?

  • Huet may have won a bunch of games and let us get to the playsoffs. but ever since he hasnt gotten to the playoffs he hasnt been that hot. should of put olie in last game in third period so he could of got some rust of so he could start tonight.

  • zilla is one of the biggest, greatest and funniest goalies!!

  • Congrats to Olie on his 300th win last night.

This commercial brings back so many good memories.

  • its funny to watch hockey players in commercials cause you never look at them the same after you see them like this hahaha

  • Hilarious. Olie's a first class guy, best cap ever. Go Kolzig!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He was born in South Africa, his parents are German, but he was raised in British Columbia. He never applied for Canadian citizenship, and because of his German decent, he is allowed to represent Germany Internationally.

  • I'm only 14 but I miss the old team with Oates , and Bondra, Nylander, Gonchar, Lang, Grier, Konowalchuk,
