The best way to defeat Laughing Octopus: Use a shotgun, slugs. Or keep unloading mags from an assault rifle or M14. After that ,defeating Laughing Beauty is easy just unload on her takes like 10 seconds. Trust me I've beat the game twice already.

When i first fought octopus and she kinda lied there dead during the cutscene the first thing that went through my head was "Well that was easy ^_^" and then 5 seconds later the first thing i said was "OH MY GOD WHY?!?!!"

aim at the gekko heads and keep firing. aiming at the legs will slow them down, enough damage to a leg will cause it to fall to it's knee's, attacking the other will knock him on it's back(useful info for later in the game) you can use the solid eye to see the best spot to aim, it will be a small yellow circle, with proper aim u can drop it 1 one shot, but for this part just aim for the head and if there chasing u shot the legs to slow them down. as for the powersuits just ignore them.

@tylerjustin97 no in there beast form you can use whatever the hell u want :) Just be sure to use non lethal for there beauty form. Technically you beat them after there beauty form, they just shed there suit in once u beat the beast form.

Man, this is also my first MGS game xD. i remeber the day i first got this. i played till this boss. she scared the f&#@ outa mee, so i went to bed. then i played the next day. i never left the same room. unless i had too. but if i did. i would just run back when i could. it takes me like 30 mins to 1 hr to kill her, shes scary. but you make it look like shes as harmless as a toothpick(mabye a peice of styrofoam, toothpicks still hurt if they poke u).
