hey i have the techno to and every time i try to see the score it always shown at the top (where the silver thing is) and it also spins insteand of going in a line, can you help?
@supermariom1998 If the score is displaying under the top cap, then you are starting the rotor spinning initially in the wrong direction. Take note of the small arrow on the rotor and spin it that way to begin. Regarding the other problem, your technique is still not perfected; keep practicing! Hold the gyro as loosely in your hand as possible when trying to read the score (without letting it fall out)
hey, does the neon green powerball pro scroll the rpm across the core?? i was going to buy it but im not sure if it scrolls the rpm?? please reply =] thanks
Got myself a techno. But, I can't read the digits. Think my technique is wrong. I get it to rev up pretty much, but then, when I wanna read the rpm's the digits are turning round. So they scroll, but i can't read them because they're turning like crazy. The red lines go all over the ball. in your vid the lines mostly remain in one spot. What to do?
What to do? Keep practicing! It is definitely a technique problem. You've got to hold the ball very loosely in your hand to be able to read the score.
Cool techno ball. I like the idea of LEDs displaying the RPM.
Was 13542 on a powerball with LEDS? Or one with just a tach? That's a pretty good score either way.
I seem to lose a thousand RPM on powerballs with dyno powered LEDs, as one would expect, since it's generating electricity from some of the kenetic energy.
The lights on this unit do not come on until about 6000 RPMS, and then they stay on for anything above that speed. Sometimes the lights are just decorative and sometimes it will display one's RPMs (as shown in the video).
