Watchmen, I found very good, more thoughtful and insightful than action packed though. This is not your average comic book turned film, a little more like a documentary of some sort.

Dark Knight filled the void, but something was missing. He did not cuss and did not kill villains, he had higher principles in a city called Gotham. If someone killed my folks, and I wanted revenge without killing bad guys I would become a PROSECUTOR not a caped crusader.

I havent read the graphic novel and found the movie to be incredible and really underrated. The cinematography was stunning and at some parts breathtaking, and all it demands is that you concentrate, i understood the plot and enjoyed the movie a lot more than i thought i would. Judge it for yourself, but as i film it was directed and filmed very well.

The opening paragraphs from the graphic novel from the journel has to be the greatest opening paragraph i think i have ever read. I thought Hollywood were going to ruin this too, but the trailers are kinda amazing and although trailers are meant to be, i think it's going to be one cool movie. Shame the author didn't set it in London but then, V for Vendetta was a pretty awful film and looked wrong. Looking forward to this though. Greatly.
