Actually, the Cascade has over 1000 steps, not 500 something. I know it, because one time we decided to count as we were walking up. It was either 1100 something or 1300 something steps. Either way, that's just the number of steps of the main section, the white/beige steps. The steps in the beginning of the video are an additional number, plus the walking involved to get from the bottom of these steps to the main steps.

@EmirKhan007 That's because Armenians used to be neighbouring and living with Greeks. They share a lot of culture etc. Its just when Turkey was formed when Armenians were not neighbours with Greeks anymore.
