@iloveAustria96 Xbox doesn't take skill, so in turn you can't be skilled while playing Xbox. I know I couldn't play any of the games I play on PC as well as I do on PC with an Xbox controller. Controllers just aren't versatile enough.

First off...You CANNOT possibly play tribes with a controller seen here. Skiing is difficult as well as everything else he is trying to do. You need a keyboard environment. I cannot explain myself any better than that.

ha. that game was designed for BOTH platforms, they had to make some form of balance.

Tribes was designed for the PC. Reality is, with two players of equal skill level, the guy on the PC will always have an edge.

I' going to say no based on fact that it would take a miracle of the thumb variety to accomplish in the range of motion what a hand and mouse can do. First person shooters on a console just cant hold a candle to the PC. Thats just a fact. However if you could rig a mouse and keyboard you might have a winner.

They say that Mouses are beter for aiming, but Controllers are better for everything else. Example: Maneuverability.

If you're talking about Shadowrun, then your article also says that the controls were dumbed down and tweaked based on human error to gauge its effectiveness. They also say that shooters are "how fast can you get your crosshair on the head of your opponent". Shadowrun isn't that kind of game.
