@GrmReaper37 Yes, it does. Unless he did a torsion bar delete, or swapped in a straight axle, which as far as the SAS goes, I can tell, he didnt. ALL 1988-present GM trucks use Torsion bar IFS suspension.
@247Countryboy1 No it doesn't. They 1500's IFS changed in 2007 to a coilover. The new body style from mid 2007 and up doesn't have torsion bars. The new level kits are coil spacers not keys because there are no keys. Look at the close up of the pass side front tire and look into the wheel well, you'll see the coil spring. He gives you a very good close up of that area when he's showing you the lift, where do you see torsion bars? The HD's still have torsion bars, but that truck isn't an HD.
How did you deal with the speedometer difference with 35", I heard with bigger tires it confuses the computer and makes the truck sluggish, what say you?

@jerrydon1965 I have not ran these tires but doing research I've discovered that they are a quiet tire for an M/T and handle well on the street. But they are very heavy and are a mpg killer. So if you care about your mpg these are not for you.

BLACK color trucks are hard to clean and hard to cool down in summer.
Grey metallic or white trucks are better in the summer and the grey is dirt proof color, BLACK SUX always looks dirty, always heats up, and scratches are very visible !

I was thinking the same thing. This guy has a beautiful Sierra 4x4 truck (props by the way) but a camry sitting next to it? Doesn't make sense to me, especially when there are better domestic alternatives.
@gmi2422 no because they normally come stock with a 3.42 ratio which is kinda on that fine line of almost being geared too high but wanting to be geared low enough to still be practical. they have a 3.73 which is what mine has but depending on the setup they get pretty much the same mpg.
@tyreeballard really? my 97 sierra 4x4 with a bad O2 sensor, cats that are stopping up , a 350 vortec under the hood and 151,000 miles and 3.73 gears gets average 16 mpg. im ordering dummy O2 sensors so i can get rid of the cats until i can find a replacement (or not ,leaning toward not) . then im putting in a k&n replacement filter, mabey the intake kit and it should be getting 20 or so depending how far and consistant i drive. im probably gonna gain another 1 or 2 mpg average at least.
@tyreeballard they offer this in the 6.2 now. thats the one im interested in because in not too crazy about the 5.3 engine. they would have been much better off with the 350 and just give it some new tech instead of downsizing. nothing wrong with a 5.3, i just like and prefer the 5.7 and 6.2. i priced one new with the options i like and it was $45,000. think ill wait a little while on that one lol. superb choice on your truck and styling though. 2 big thunbs up.
One of my favorite features off the Sierra's are the turn signal's on the front headlights, usually they are on the outer sides of the headlights, but on the sierra they are located between the headlights and the grille, looks cool in my opinion. Only other thing I saw missing was the back up camera, it would be located on the tailgate handle, on the left side of the handle. Other than that very nice truck.

I have the same truck, same color, in extended cab with leather, the two tone leather looks great. Was looking at a lift, I just put in a 2 3/4" leveling kit. What did your suspension lift run you? Enjoy your truck dude, I love mine so far.

@dab7547 I did not do the lift, but I had to much on my plate...I would say the Wheels + tires + lift + exhaust + installation cost around 7K+...

NICE...I've got the 2008 ALL Terrain...I had them put in a Denali grill though...cost ya about 450 and it makes it ten times sexier...6 inch super lift with 35 inch Nitto mudgrapplers cost me, tires,lift, cold air intake, install, cost just under 4k... but I had to go with the two tone leather, so I must admit I like the inside of my truck as much is not more than the outside. I do need to invest in stepside though, tired of people bitching,lol....oh and get duals, it adds a nice grunt.

I have the same truck, same color, in extended cab with leather, the two tone leather looks great. Was looking at a lift, I just put in a 2 3/4" leveling kit. What did your suspension lift run you? Enjoy your truck dude, I love mine so far.
