@focaisawiza7@manyulia How does it help the world to say nasty things like this? It is great to see real African dancing in New York City -- it's not like we have so many thousands and thousand and thousands of people who know how to do this here. So instead of denouncing in cruel terms, why not be supportive and be kind to your fellow man and women too. Remember Dunia Tuna Pita: We are all just passing through...
" Tuna Pita translates to Tuna fish bread but in Kiswahili is a one word Tunapita meaning pasing through. The reasons being that Kiswahili has shortage of words and 90% of Kiswahili words are borrowed words from other languages including arabic. See "KISWAHILI LANGUAGE TEACHER" CLIP IN YOUTUBE
just down loaded this tune..great song and sound...gotta love how the second singer doesn't show up until 35 seconds into the song. Did he have trouble finding a parking space, was he in the bathroom....smooth how he just played it off like nothing...dig this music
@dallascomegys ha ha ha! No, Jonal was not SUPPOSED to be there until then. The song singing is a solo until that point (you can hear this on the original recording, too) and Jonal appeared exactly when he was supposed to appear, ROFL!!
@sindanomoto Samba has a myspace site, on there he would put any up coming concerts. He just had a tour throughout the country last year and if there is any upcoming tours it will be on that site. If you are not able to find it email me and I will let you know
Thanks for shooting and sharing this Scott... makes me smile! :-)
AND.. FWIW.. fish and arab-style bread both pass through our worlds too! ;-)
Sound quality is quite lovely.. did you mix board and live or is this straight board?

This might be better than the studio one because the trio of Johnny, Lokassa and of course Ngouma make it better
