Bullshit you guys, I bought this phone after it was already used for six months, and I have it almost for a year. I've just reformated it today, and it still works flawlessly. I adore it. Couldn't have spent my money better, there's memory, the camera is good for my purposes, it's quite fast and it's really good if you like to browse the internet.

Anyway, I hope I'll have ti for a long time, I adore it

If only the phone ran this smoothly in real life I wouldn't be ditching Nokia soon for Android. WHAT A LIE THIS AD IS. Sometimes it takes 10 seconds for me to open up the message center to write an sms... Crazy slow. This phone is a total dissapointment only because of the chipset. Everything else about it is awesome, but nokia decided to cost cut in the WORST WAY POSSIBLE. Put an A8 in it and it's golden. 434mhz Arm11 is a slap in the face.

@Vkob I do agree this phone can be slow, but i'm telling ya apart from that this phone is still amazing and it's over a year old. It seems i'm going against most people when i say i think this phone is the most unerrated phone out there. Im used to n series phones so to be honest this one was actually quite quick. You don't even get 32G on new phones now. The slowness gives a a bit of character. I completely love this phone and it can be picked up quite cheap now cause of the bad reviews.

There has been yet another update in the past 24hrs for this phone and I again strongly advise you to update as it makes all the difference to the N97 mine works very well now.Make sure you save EVERYTHING you can to the main 25GB Memory NOT the phone memory!!

I have this phone and I have spent a bit of time with it - setting it up. What you really really need to do with this phone is to UPDATE IT. Either use the internal update menu - or - better still download Nokia Suite and Update software to your Pc/Laptop and install the very latest Firmware updates/maps and so on - IT WILL make all the difference. My N97 is much better then the one I purchead last week. Also - make sure you only use the MASS STORAGE to save pics/vids AND new APPS!!

2) If you use the 'C' memory ONLY for system files you wont get the annoying 'memory full' messages. Also Nokia has a special app you can download to yr N97 it will distribute the system files and give you even more space on 'C'. There don't seem to be any way to copy or move files to Mass storage in the N97 but you can easy do it with the PC/Lappy software package ,just drag to folders like you do in windows. ALSO: Delete any apps you don't need and THEIR INSTALLERS TOO,MAKE ROOM! Have fun!

I just bought my N97 a few days ago - it was second hand for £160 and hardly a scratch complete with all box contents and a guarantee! The N97 is definitely the thinking man's phone. You need to update it and keep it updated. Use the mass storage area (32GB!) for everything you can (Photos/apps) The Ovi software on yr PC makes this much easier! Download it! GOTO SETTINGS in the camera and tick that as your pix store. Apps can be run from there too! Leave 'C' for system files NOT your files!
