4:56, OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom) is not an Iraqi Campaign. There are only two countries that have OEF, they are Afghanistan and Phillipines. I've already been part of OEF '08-09, and lucky for those actors they don't have to wear the NEW MTV Flaks, they include 2 more Sapi-plates for the sides and a ton more alice-adapters for more possible spots for magazines, IFAK, grenade pouches, etc.

Major Gray was actually a pretty good officer. He was actually a Lt during the push and a capt on his second tour where he performed very well. Easily excitable but a good officer.

In regards to the negative comments about this show and my fellow Recon Marines, the individuals with dis-content obviously are not proud of there fellow man. We as Recon Marines fought bravely for what we believed in, furthermore Recon training is strictly voluntary. I graduated Amphib Recon School Dec.12 2003 and served with 3rd Recon Bn. the attrition rate for training if over 75% Recon Marines are the fiercest warriors on the battlefield and will die for what we, and you all of you believe

You don't understand the Marine Corps, agentriot03. All officers are required to have a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Also, you would be surprised by the number of enlisted Marines that have associates, bachelors, and even masters degrees from well-known universities. Brave Marines are the heroes because they are the ones who save the lives of their comrades.

Your insane. The enlisted men and officers in the military are all very intellegent men and women. Doctors,medics,surgeons,repairmen etc, etc, are all very smart and brave. There not blood crazy as it seems u describe them. There brave and nobel and all deserve our thanks. Lately,i thought alittle about joining the army and becoming an officer,and although the army may not be as respected or anythang as the marines,but there just as brave,smart,and nobel.

4:56, OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom) is not an Iraqi Campaign. There are only two countries that have OEF, they are Afghanistan and Phillipines. I've already been part of OEF '08-09, and lucky for those actors they don't have to wear the NEW MTV Flaks, they include 2 more Sapi-plates for the sides and a ton more alice-adapters for more possible spots for magazines, IFAK, grenade pouches, etc.

that is actually Sergent Rudy Reyes. he plays himself in the series and was a part of the Iraq and Afghan campaigns. he used his gear from Afghanistan on the set of the show

Making broad, general, and ignorant statements like this makes you appear to be the uneducated one. If you took the time to watch the series or better yet read the book you would see that it does nothing to glorify war, it achieves quite the opposite.
