I remember my daddy singing and having jam sessions in the 60's with howling Wolf and many others.

The guy hear is Otis 'Smokey' Smothers, who died in 1993. The guy you jammed with was probably his younger brother Albert 'Little Smokey' Smothers

My grandfather's music is not available for download. A lot of his stuff is very rare and still on vinyl. Some of his stuff can be found on CD, for sale.

hey thanks for the post and the great info in your write-up. I was just watching a clapton interview from the late 70's (Clapton seemed really f'd up on something) in which he mentioned "smokey smothers" as one of his influences, so i had to check him out. This is one of the few hits on youtube. thanks again
