great video, i am a proud owner of a vz58 and i think it is one of the best ak style rifles out there, that being said i could give you some tips on doing a better tactical reload. you can reload the vz58 just like the guys do with there ak47-74's it just takes a bit more practice i know it can be hard with the small mag release on the vz58 so i spent the 40$ and got the extended mag release it makes tactical reloads a dream and as smooth as the spezna's do with there ak's.

@MavHunter20XX Optical solutions for the VZ 58 is more limited and more expensive compared to the AK. VZ 58's do not come out of the box with a side rail like most AK's do. And once you do get a side rail on, you have to make sure the scope does not get in the way of the top ejection brass. Better in some ways then the AK, not so much better in other ways.

One thing I've never figured out is why the charging handle is always on the right! You have to reach your arm ALL the way over. This is a top extracting weapon....

It is. I've put over 5000 rounds through mine and I've had maybe 10 FTF, mostly due to lousy surplus ammo.

Absolutely outstanding weapon, I have 5000+ rounds through mine, in everything from 30C to -35C, from low to 100% humidity. All of it Czech surplus 7.62x39mm, it just tears through it all. Accurate and hard hitting, lots of accessories for it, although it is a beast stock too. May not be exactly as tough as the AK, but it is still miles ahead of anything else.

@kibicz ;) Aj ja ;) aj ked musis uznat, ze VZ 59 je Ceskoslovenska zbran, rovnako ako CZ 75. Bola vymyslena za cias Ceskoslovenska.

K100 - aka STI GP6 je navrhnuta az za cias po rozdeleni Ceskoslovenska na Slovensku.

Ja som sa narodil za cias Ceskoslovenska a doteraz sa tak citim a som na to hrdy.

@vrso2 jo, ale tak všechny tyhle zbraně měly konstrukční kolíbku v Uherském Brodě nebo v Brně. Takže proto to mají spojený s "Czech". Nehledě k tomu, že za Federace Češi vyráběli pěchotní zbraně a Slvoesnku se vyráběli zbraně těžké, jako kanony, tanky a tak podobně.
