I actually believe Adele has an amazing voice, and is the only pop artist with such a one right now.

And I can't see why we can't compare the two like real music lovers, based on technique, feeling, etc. Don't just have to compare within "genres". Compare them as musicians, don't compare the music itself.

PSA to all the people who are getting on their high horse to say we shouldn't be comparing Adele and MaS:

First, it all spawned from some debate between Adele's song sounding strangely like one of MaS'.

Second, "Squirtle and Charmander are nothing alike, so don't compare their cards" is pretty much what you're saying. That's plain wrong. I like both their cards, and I like to see which one is cooler so I can trade for it and place a value on it so I can brag. Same with music.
