I hope they bring back elevators and showing a ship flying for the loading screens in ME3. They're much more immersive. It wasn't too fun when you just had an epic fight and saw one of your squad mates die, followed by jumping onto the Normandy with a swarm of Collectors chasing you, just for it to go BAM! Mission complete + loading screen.

Garrus may have been overly judgmental at first, yet Tali only replies by stooping even lower and counter-attacking rather than explaining her people's situation to him which he obviously knew less of. Then she's spiteful and sarcastic at his enthusiastic/relaxed opinion. Nah, she had a personal chip on her shoulder.

@ultrajd Indeed, tho they could have made the conversations and news reports longer since most of them are way less than half of the elevator ride. I would not mind if they brought this back in ME3 and a few other things from ME1 as well, i liked just about everything except that annoying 1 minigame for everything, the mako and the 5 or 6 standard environments all side missions were based on, which made them boring as hell after a while.

Ah no reason to hate Garrus. Garrus was known in ME1 for having a stick up his ass. He loosens up considerably in ME2 and even jokes with Tali about their elevator arguments. There's actually a conversation in the elevators of ME1 were Garrus asks about the reason Quarians wear suits. When Tali answers, he apologizes to her. I think it was there that he realized how much of a jerk he'd been.

I liked Garrus, I liked Wrex too but those two were my fav characters in ME1.

Don't know why I liked him, maybe it's because he hates rules and regulations like I do. He actually looks up to Shepard too and tries to learn from him. Seeing him turn so menacing when confronting Dr saleon was one of the games many highlights.

Look at ME1, you could equip weapons, armor, upgrades, etc. you had many more powers, but the combat system itself is much more better in second one.

Its still RPG, as you take a role of a character and kinda evolve him.

I still prefer ME2 over 1, since the combat looks way better and feels great

ME2 was better than ME1, but both games are some of the best ever created. However, what I miss from ME2 is character interactions separate from Shepard. They should find a way to do that in ME3 without elevators.
