WHY do people like this guy SOO much??? The first video I watched of Tyson was him explaining black holes. It was very informing. Since then, it has gone down hill fast. The more videos I watch, the more it seems like all he's interested in is resurrecting superstition in order to kill it again. Why not just let it die and educate people on real physics? Let people believe whatever superstitions they want to, Tyson. Let it go. Don't waste your mind on this stuff. You only fuel the fire....
@tpstrat14 Why do you go from video to video posting the EXACT SAME DAMN COMMENT? Come up with something original on your next spam post or go fuck yourself, you creatively bankrupt cunt.
@tpstrat14 There was another video where it became more clear. Your approach is more like Richard Dawkins. "Science is cool, and if you don't agree you can fuck off." /quote.
Neil is a lot more interested in educating people, being the Host of the show NOVA and soon to be the host of the remake of Cosmos. He wants people to understand the more basic stuff, and seeing science in action. Think Bill Nye's layman's terms with a hint of Stephen Hawking.
problem is, all this talk about angels "leaving heaven" isn't in the Bible. It can be found in John Milton's Paradise Lost, a 17th century poem written by Englishman John Milton.
@RespectMyHate so before sin people could eat as fast as they wanted? and swallow things regardless of size without choking? could people talk out their ass before sin came along to, cus ur doin a fine job.
@RespectMyHate so clarify for me: could people swallow giant items, items too big for us to swallow without choking, and not choke? before there was sin.
dont just fob me off with a generic 'everything was perfect before sin' comment, it makes it look like you dont have a genuine answer to the question put to u
u assert a perfect being can only do perfect things, (which raises free will questions btw) yet u'll also assert that we chose to commit sin, ruining the perfection.
ir we lived ina world where everything was perfect, where we 'wouldnt/couldnt help but do everythign perfect, then how did we make the imperfect choice to start sinning
(if u say free will then u've missed the point, as u urself have already pointed out that in a perfect world we would only do perfect things)
@ajsatchwell This is a technical subject, at first we were talking about choking but it has turned into something else.
We all have free will, so could Adam have choked himself in Eden? techincally yes, but he wouldn't have done that.(whats the purpose of doing that?)
Now as for other types of sins in a perfect world, satan made the choice to rebel. At first he thought he was doing something good, in a sense he deceived himself, we have the choice to do so.
@ajsatchwell Human and Angelic will is completeley free, satan made the choice to rebel along with 1/3 of the angels but 2/3 of the angels made the choice according to their own will to stay and remain loyal to God.
The angels who stayed still have the ability to sin, but they won't because its there will not to.
But the choice always remains.
They're perfect beings with a choice to be good or bad.
@RespectMyHate 1/3 of the angels left? that must mean that there are 3N angels unless there is like a crippled angels that only count as like a fraction of an angel... Then I guess the question is since you talk to God, can you ask him if the number of angels is even or odd? I would appreciate it.
@jkrobertson88 Its an approximation. appoximately 1/3 of the angels left heaven so even if the number was 100, 34 left and 66 remained so you can say 1/3 of the angels left.
@96billybobjoe yes but air resistance lets some things fall faster than others...but it doesn't really make that much difference when you let items like that fall from chest height ;-)
but in a vacuum, everything falls at the same speed....fether and stone for example.
@Matzes Just to be pedantic, everything falls with the same acceleration in a vacuum if they start from the same distance from the centre of the earth.
Why is there always 1-5 negative votes... are there really a few people that ignorant/stupid that they search for Neil's videos to down rank them? Or do they genuinely think this man is not funny or intelligent?

@quanta412 Yes it is, I hate evolution, and I'm not a troll, I also don't like this guy, he said the human body was stupidly designed, what a idiot.
RespectMyHate 11 months ago
@RespectMyHate He's not entirely wrong you know. We can choke on food. If you ask me, that IS a horrible design. We could die while eating.
krisDM3000 10 months ago
@krisDM3000 Yeah if you eat too fast, or try to swallow something thats too big. That the only way you'll choke.
The human body is perfect in its design but due to sin we have flaws, and are subject to death.
I'm truly amazed at some of the things these scientist are saying.
Their flat out, out of their minds.

ajsatchwell 10 months ago
@ajsatchwell No, because before sin you wouldn't do that.
Again, because everything was perfect.
Every bit and every swallow was perfect.

u said before sin people 'wouldnt' be able to do imperfect things, cus everyone was perfect
but ur saying angels (who dont exist btw) and people went from being perfect, to choosing to sin
but u said people wouldnt choose imperfect things, like sinning
but u say they chose to sin
so u must see the inconsistency there surely? u must see ur ideas of perfection before sin do not make sense
