You have to ask why the British media and politicians persistently focus on domestic rabblerousers and plastic jihadis as the newsworthy expression of Islam rather than notice the mature dialectic that is shaping up amongst our scholars in relation to the vapid "diversity versus cohesion" debate that Cameron, Griffin etc are obsessed by.
