I love the Faeries and it's always good to see them... but this footage seems to have some serious audio glitches, bro!

It was only recorded on my digital camera and I was very near the speakers. I don't think that the mic could handle the volume levels very well. I also found out (I had only just bought it) that zooming in and out cut out the sound. Sorry it is no better but there was no Peatbog Stuff on YouTube when I posted it.

On the other hand it is still the best clip of them out there - you have already commented on the mobile phone recording and the one from Farr is a perfectly respectable recording until it cuts out just when the tunes start!

Somone post something better please!

Your wish is my command, Alistair! I'm in the process of uploading a 10-min excerpt from the Faeries - live at the 2006 Rainforest World Music Festival, in Sarawak. Bass amp distortion plagues the band! :-)

I had the pleasure of jamming with them after a Queen's Jubilee gig they played at a festival in Henley of all places. They were superb and I now have three of their albums!

Shepley in May, I'll be there. And if you go their MySpace site, you'll be able to find the equally wonderful & might Bramax too, whose members consist of a mouse, a bat-eared cat & a giant cock. What more d'ye want?

Go see em live next year, they'll be at Celtic Connections in Glasgow in Jan., Tartan Heart Fest in August, Shepley Festival in May. You'll be knackered at the end of one of their sets, I swear.

Yes I know the quality is not great but there was nothing else for them up here so thought I should add it. If anyone has anything better please add it.

If you want to see better quality then they have posted stuff from the BBC on their myspace in the videos section. Better still - go to see them live!
