What is the problem here. I assume people just don't understand what doing a cover is. It's not about mimicking the original, otherwise get the original. Covers are about adding a new style without butchering the song. This was a great cover. A little history for ya. When these lyrics were found it was a calling from something higher than us. Cornell's close friend died and they found these songs completely written but the friend never showed anyone. The songs had to be done they needed closer.

i think cornell will always be a million times better than chester. it depends what kind of voice you like too, because i really like chris cornell and eddie vedders baritone type of voice.

it seems like chester is trying really hard in this video and doesn't quite reach the pitch that cornell can (he has a different type of voice entirely) but he still does this pretty good. i'd rather watch vedder though.

@durden246 OH,Road To Revolution is a concert that was held at Milton Keynes,which was put on an album with Bonus Live DVD that comes with it!,but listen to 3:00 and up of The Little things give you away live at milton Keynes it's one Baritone note in the whole song that he hits,and A LOT of people thought Cornell had walked onto the stage no joke,but other than that Baritone notes don't play into Chesters singing,hes more of a Axel Rose,Layne Staley like range of voice,but listen to that.

Just that's not his general voice, which is fine. You're right about his voice being more like Axel Rose but not as much with Layne Staley in my opinion as he goes in and out from baritone to slightly higher more often. I hear his deeper voice more. It reminds me of Tom Smith (Editors) sometimes.
