The menu is scrolling much faster than the one that i played on PSP.

But loading times are just about the same.

But PSP somehow run this game often smoother than PS1 did.

One of the best game from the series by the way playing it like it was brand new,now charging

Though I was unaware that they actually came out with a system called PSX in Japan, I was referring to the original Playstation, which was referred to as PSX back in the day, of course when PS2 hit and I bought one of those and didnt like it, I bought a Xbox when it came out and never looked back... But I do remember this being one of my first games on the original PS (Not PSX, if you want to get technical and smartass about it :P)

Now, as for many 3D0 to PS1 ports, I 'd always choose the 3D0 version.

However, even if it was a great game, I doubt that certain people would buy it inmediately after its release back in the day, because Road Rash 3 for the Genesis was released on the same year, and although it was a crappier 16-bit game, it featured a brand new graphics engine back then, and for me it was a better experience until I could get used to this game.
