Yes, mechanical bells truly evoke the railroad pastimes. Unfortunately, not long after this video was taken, one of those bells was replaced with an electronic bell.
I was fortunate to have had the chance to ride (and sleep for two nights) on the Pacific Sands round trip from Sacramento. I have to say that it was one of the best times of my life. Great job in capturing this special moment. Thank you.
