the main problem i got with (or had) with skateboards is that no matter how skilled you are, you cant avoid riding into that small stone or piece of glass on the path that jams under ur board and sends you flying. BIKES FTW

i ride bmx and skateboard. skated for 8 years, sponsored for 3 & started riding about a month ago. bmx is 1000 times easier and skateboarding is about 872138725 times more technical. they're both fun sports. there's a million more tricks to do on a skateboard, which all take a lot of coordination. bmx is more about throwing your body around. skating is harder, hands down. and they're both cool in their own way. don't knock the other just because you can't do it, but honestly i prefer bmx now.

BMX is alot harder than skating because you are working with a heavier object. dont get me wrong skating is hard but BMX takes more strength and you have to be perfect. when you go to bail on a bike you have to jump over the frame and throw the bike on a board you just kick it away. i used to skate so i know that BMX is harder.
