@TankCommando1776 no actully, it means that the runway is very short and most aircraft cannot land at it. some acceptions are the twin otter and smaller aircraft

"e. Temporarily Closed Runways and Taxiways. To provide a visual indication to pilots that a runway is temporarily closed, crosses are placed on the runway only at each end of the runway. The crosses are yellow in color." However, the makers of this airport did not model it correctly. There are turnabout areas at the ends that have white X's. Can you please tell me where you got your info?

@90Blakey Yes, that's right. Pilots need to have special training to land at this airport (IE several touch-N-go's and landings). After they complete that they get a waiver to land. But if you don't have the waiver consider the airport closed.  In the real world this runway is marked as closed to ALL traffic. You're misunderstanding what it is saying. The pilot needs the waiver not the aircraft.

I don't think you're allowed to brake while reverse thrusters are in use..you can only break in the end when you set your engines from reverse to idle.

A problem is that full braking i.e pressing the period key on fsx actually LOCKS the main gear wheels, and if this happened in real life it would obviously destroy the tires and they would be of no use whatsoever for future operations and would have to he replaced. Just putting that out there. Awesome video as always nonetheless.

I found it more realistic to use flaps, reverse thrust, and the speed brake, but avoid using the brakes themselves and you can get a preety realistic landing

Guys...quick note if you try this....the Learjet also has spoilers. Make sure to arm them if you're trying this out, and also be sure to use full flaps and reverse thrust.

I took of with PMDG 747 without flaps :D I just stood at at the end with the main gear touching the end of the asphalt.Parking brake + full thrust + 5 sec delay for the engines to pick up speed.And than i just let go of the brake :)

@sushi064 much before the well known international airports you know, such as kong kong etc, all airports that had an airline run to it was considered international becuase it brought different nationalities to the airport. Sometimes it was considered international to let people know that there was no descrimination to anyone flying there. Plus now the official name for saba (icao: SABA) is Juancho Yrausin, as international is not in its official tital.
