  • what was up with the house?

  • @civiclover69 Condemed building

  • Just when exactly was that house abandoned? Because I noticed some pretty modern objects and light fixtures in there.

  • @mazda9624 About 4 months before this video.

  • basement would of made a good wine cellar

  • the house wasnt that bad easily saveable.. i know people who live in houses worse then this one..what a shame

  • This historic building deserved saving and restoration. There are plenty of people out there who would pay to have it moved even, if that was the issue.

Buildings are routinely preserved that are in FAR worse condition. Would have been a standard restoration job for someone who knew what they were doing. Tragic.

  • Interesting old home. You can tell by the brick work on the exterior and the stairwell inside the house was a single story at one time and had a 2nd added on, the stairs led up to the attic area previously. Also the brick work inside the house was most likely the original fireplace that was later covered up and not needed when 2nd story was added. Also notice the difference between trim upstairs and down. Sadly none of that trim seemed to be saved that would've been worth something to a restorer

  • @Riptides99 Yes all of the trim was saved, even the entire floor from upstairs.

  • now thats a solid brick and plaster house!

  • In Vancouver thery're dismantling old houses and reusing about 83% of the materials to save filling the landfills. They say 2 houses a day come down in Vancouver.

  • He doesnt need to be a ninja he's a demolition derby driver. Lol

  • your definantly not a ninja goin up those stairs

  • whens the next vid

  • @emochlid New season starts in march

  • did u get all of the copper wire?

  • Them brick houses aren't bad, but very expensive to maintain, and to heat in the wintertime!!!

  • take the kitchen cabinets for shop cabinets, they work well. conters too,

  • Did you guys see the dead old guy in the wheel chair at 3:09? Looked like he died there and nobody came to get him.

  • i would at least take that ceiling fan too in the downstairs room...might come in handy at the shop or something..

  • take all the old clothes for rags in the shop

  • what are the owners going to do with the land when the house is dozed and are they going to level the land it wood make a lot better test track if it was.

  • @junkyarddawg08 Exactly our plans.

  • Looking forward to your upcoming derby season. Hopefully that thunderbird will bring some really hard hits and do really well. Study hard and maybe time will fly to derby season.

  • wat happened to the house and y dont you buy it even though it is probably to late o and idk if you would want to or not but if you take out some carpet you can lay on that wen your under a car working or something

  • Why don't you throw a fund raiser party for your race car where you charge everyone $10.00 to bring there own sledge hammer and they can smash everything they want till they can't stand any more. I went to one and it was a blast. The guy made a couple hundred bucks.

  • you should have ended this vid with a wrecking ball comming through the window as you looked out with a cry NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,

    suspense lol

  • is a very nicee looting house and could have had lots of potential but it also has that creepy house look to it also lol, and the basement looked like the BLAIR WITCH PROJECT lol, i thought i seen a guy standing in the corner lol

  • make sure to take all the copper pipes you can get to out , also try and get the copper wire out . a house that size could get you an extra couple hundred bucks towards derbying ! that is if you havent allready lol

  • Well if the house is gonna be torn down anyways, why not destroy it DEMO DERBY STYLE??!?!!

  • @KillerPancak3s ive always wanted to drive a car through a house ! hes got the perfect chance to ! lol

  • What is the story behind this house? Like why is it vacated and trash spewn about? Just wondering. Its sad to see a nice house like this get neglected and eventualy torn down.

  • @piemasterp Can't explain on here

  • @piemasterp Can't explain on here

  • @nckkinney O_O That's a very rare Thrustmaster Formula T2

  • make a drano bomb haha. also, before derby season comes around...are you able to use donut tires on your compact?

  • @Fieldofdead Yes. I will be looking for donut tires this spring.

  • what do u think u will be running car wise for 2011

  • @PingPongNinja123 Fullsize and compacts

  • I bet that house held alot of happy memories for someone to bad

  • damn those people sure left a mess in that place when they vacated. left half the dman furniture! lol

  • Don't forget to take the dishes in the cupboard, the money in the dish, and the video game steering wheel

  • working lights in the basement? first thought in my head was to throw a party

  • They just don't build houses like that anymore :-( to bad to see it go.

  • and the wires, to sell , easily 100 dolars of copper wring

  • use some of the bricks for stuff aswell

  • have u salvaged everything

  • I gather this house has foundation or rot issues. Many of these old houses end up with leaks that compromise the fountation rocks and rot the wood to a point were if reinforcement isn't done things start to collapse, sad really as some of the new houses are ugly and generic.

  • also take the office chair they make good shop chairs

  • get the bed frames those are good angle iron

  • Thanks for the tour. Looks a lot bigger from the outside (and better)

  • bed frames are good for derby car parts

  • let me get that chair @2:54

  • why is it being torn down it needs work but its not THAT bad?

  • @weirdstuffanimation7 Not allowed to stay standing due to condition and costs.

  • why are they tearing it down?

  • @nclark557 Not my call, but its forced to come down.

  • @DemolitionMissions ok that sucks that was a really nice house
