I miss unique toonns & toys from the toons. I wish Hub, WGN Retro, & Cartoon Network would get blocks of these to air on Weekend Mornings. Imagine the ratings they could get. All the retro fans now have children in their lives. We would watch then the kids in our familywould watch. Networks would make money on shows they don't pay to produce now. I remember this cartoon when the bugs bunny road runner show was airing in the 80's! I have to admit great quality on this video man! This cartoon is one of classics on Saturday mornings. You would get up 4;30 in the morning starting with Robotech,with a bowl of cereal.Chill out on the couch with your brothers,and sisters . Watching cartoons till 12"30 Ending with the road runner show!This is classic.

We had a day meant for us, not to remind us of school, just to laugh our asses off. I used to watch this cartoon when i was 5, the bad part was it was only on for one season. I forgot the name over time but i still had a memory of the theme song and now 7 years ago i found it and have all the episodes but the last three. It's really a shame that the kids today can't experience what I used to do every saturday morning. I still wish it will come back. Hao!! Hao!! Hao!! Hao!! Hao!! Holy crap I used to get up and dance to this shit when I was like 8. This was in the days before remote controls on TV were common; I had to blocade my sister from changing the channel to She-ra or my little pony or some other garbage cartoon. Pole position rocks, modern cartoons are a bunch of useless crap. You CAN'T TOUCH the opening credits, the hardcore keyboard, or 80's hair band lyrics of oldschool cartoons. New stuff blows.

Miss those Saturday mornings where I actually got up voluntarily just to watch cartoons at 6 am but when it came to getting up for school at 6 am 2 days later I couldnt have cared less. Shows where my priorities were and also shows what quality these shows were then. They ruled and I miss it. But at least we got to experience it first hand.

Not really. The only thing they had in common with Speed Racer was that they had really cool cars and fought bad guys.

They never actually raced much, IIRC. They were wholly concerned with chasing the bad guys.

But Knight Rider was still a good show, would of like to see a cartoon version of it... Dan's car was a fictional machine. Tess was skill and formality while Dan was raw talent. Tess could beat Dan on a race track but Dan would own any living being on the street. Tess never made a mistake but Dan could all but wipe out and still take the win. Tess was Ryu to Dan's Ken if you know Street Fighter at all. They were the ultimate team, just like Ryu and Ken.

I remember this was the first cartoon in which I saw kissing (not including Looney Tunes.) It was just the sister kissing some dude...but at 8 years of age, that was some crazy stuff to see on screen! I liken it to seeing my first Playboy.

This happened before Robotech, and before Jem and the Holograms, and probably paved the way for total tongue-kissing. Especially since everyone was kissing like crazy on those cartoons. Even that Minmay's cousin tongue-kissed her. BAAAAARF
