okay the last one id dangerous...when i was studying anatomy your shoulder joint is very very weak if it is twisted like that and fall on it with full force like that...the other ones are dangerous too but the last one can pop out your shoulder joint and breaking the socket if you are not too carefull.

Flexibility is very important, then. If the muscles are tight/tense, it would probably pull the joint out of place, but if it were loose, it would have less of a chance. Then again, I only took basic anatomy/physiology.

i was talking about the last stunt. i didn't say it is not doable but dangerous. it is not really about flexibility of your muscle it is about landing and weight. if you land at an awkward angle with of course more weight then doesn't matter how flexible you are it will force your shoulder joint to pop out. it is like try to fall on your shoulder while your arm is fully adducted (abducted arm is even worse). so your choice is to either weigh less or fall at favorable angle.

Jackie Chan is one of my absolute favorite martial artists. You could say he is why I love the field. Yes, there's Jet Li, and others... but I grew up with Jackie Chan. One of these days, I'm going to actually learn martial arts, and I hope to meet him someday. I have nothing but respect for him. Especially when it's a guy that does all his own stunts.
